Re: RPI Hockey 2012-2013 Part 1: Pocket Protectors and Hockey Sticks

Well it is official, just ordered tickets for this weekends games. Hope they do not decide to send them by mail since I clicked the will call option. Really do not need the problems some of you have had on here when ordering tickets to other games. ;) Hope we get to see Kasdorf at least one of the nights in net for the whole game. I also would like to see the team who played FS on 10/12-10/13 to come back! :D Anyone know of good places to eat around Harvard's barn?

What section did you get at Thompson?

I switched it up this year and went with Sec 15. The past 8 years I have been going I have been in Sec 5. It really doesn't matter though since all you really need is just a ticket to get into the place because you can stand at the rail and watch. It is setup like the Glens Falls Civic Center if you have ever been there to see a game.

OK, sounds good. I'm not sure if we met at the tailgate, but I'm pretty easy to pick out of a crowd...in case you want to come kick my ***.

He can bring and dress an extra goaltender, he would just have to leave a forward or dman at home! It is the number of players in the travel party, whether they are d, fwds, or goalies is the coaches decision.
I know we've covered this ground here before....re: ECAC travel specifics... I wanna say its 23 bodies. I know the NCAA rule is 18 skaters max and no less than 2 and no more than 3 goalies can dress for a game.

"Supposedly" was only used because I could not recall the number. It doesn't verify its inaccuracy, but just the passage of time. There were definitely more than just the two whom I remember. We discussed it here at the time. I think that a third was Barry Goers.
Greening was definitely recruited by the 'tute...I believe you are correct re: the others also.

If you are looking for places to eat at Harvard. Just pop into any of the bars and pubs in Harvard Square. I will try to get in touch with my buddy who Im staying with this weekend to give me some places.

There was a really nice tea shop over in Cambridge across the way from Bright, not too far from the IHOP. My first ever bubble tea.

Glad to see you back, Dr.; hope all is well for both of you (and the cats, too!)

Thanks Doc-just 7 days of inconvenience for us. We were fortunate to not suffer any catastrophic losses. But now we are getting ready for tomorrow-a noreaster on its way.

Used to be a place called Fire and Ice in Harvard Square. It's a huge hibachi style place. They give you a bowl and you fill it with what you want, all different types of meat, seafood, veggies, etc, then they cook it for you. Cool place.. Have fruit infused vodka too.

Appert says there is no goalie controversy , he will play whoever gives team best chance to win
