RPI 2026-27: Houston Field House, We Have Lift-off!

In honor of Brendan Ross, today is 16 September 2026. There are 16 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 2 October 2026 for the start of next season.

Not sure. Priority should be getting the place ready for D1 hockey. Floors can be done later?
It seems like an add-on..... rink delays have led to more time with no one in the building or events....it doesn't get any easier from a scheduling perspective as you aren't disrupting anyone. Flooriing work will go fast...unless of course they unearth Jimmy Hoffa.... lol

Interesting piece in The Athletic today on estimated NIL budgets for the highest profile college football teams.

Seven of the ten highest budgets were at SEC schools. Not a surprise. Number 10, Alabama, comes in at an estimated $38-42 million. It gets pricier from there...

Have there been any credible NIL estimates for D1 men's hockey? Wonder how it looks like beyond Big 10 and NCHC?

A little surprise on the RPI Men's Hockey Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@rpi_hockey/video/7685421100662099213
Icehockey equipment

That looks like a new jersey. And it looks like a beaut.
Very nice. I even like the little details like how the black lacing complements the Under Armor (admittedly not one of my favorite brands) logo. I'd buy one of those in a heartbeat if we still had marketing support for the program. You can't even get a basic knock-off for my adult sized spread from the bookstore site (they only have small and medium).

That must have been a scramble since it lists all of our transfers as freshmen and doesn't have basic data like measurements, shot, etc. for all newcomers. It does appear our guessing at a final addition was of little merit.
At least we have a list of names to refer to. Not much else as you pointed out.

Would it have killed them to post a roster with basic data? They wait to the last minute to post a half ass roster? lol
