RPI 2025 Off-Season: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have added 6 from the portal quite rapidly after hiring Lang. If I knew whom we can expected from the recruit list, we would have an idea how many more we need. I currently expect Goffredo, Ozolins, Rullers, Tinling, Dorfman, McNeil, Tapper, and Bourgault back. My best guess is that Krawchuk, Lemieux, Hilditch, Klassek. Kyrkostas, and Ziliotto from the recruits. That would mean we need another 6 to get to 26. Perhaps Muzzatti will still return. Janus is another maybe. I would think that we would like Adrian, but the past year was a waste for him. (It was for Bourgault too.)

Always appreciate your views RB! Do we know if Lang ran the transfer showcase he had planned? I can't find any mention of it or it having been held.

Been really busy. Did we get any recruits? I was hoping Eric would get some CHL 20 yr old players that are timed out.

Not that we know. In fairness to Coach Lang he’s fighting an uphill battle. Those guys joined major junior thinking it would end any possibility of playing in the NCAA, so many may not be positioned to be recruited or even want it. They’ll sign their ECHL contracts and move on. This will provide another competitive option to USports for those that don’t plan to go pro. How many is that? How many of those signed in the 4 months the spigot was open before Lang was hired? Who is left?

I still wonder how many recruits will get bumped in the next month or two by the recent addition of CHL talent. I’ll bet Coach is putting feelers out to identify those players.

Great points all around. Also, it's not only finding the kids interested in jumping to NCAA, but Lang has to try and get them admitted to RPI. We don't know what the administration is willing to do to help Lang, if anything, as has historically been a hurdle in RPI recruiting. That said, there are still players sitting in the portal who have been there awhile. At some point as the portal deadline draws near, their options may become limited and Lang may be able to take advantage. It seems a bit like a stare down at times !!! Who knows....

DU apparently flipped Tenn St. commit Hicks (G) from Spokane.......the Hunger Games continue and there are plenty of dominoes left to fall !!
