RPI 2025 Off-Season: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the Dean of ECAC reporters, it's Lang. Congratulations to Coach Lang, I believe this hire will lead to a renaissance in RPI Men's hockey. Also, congratulations to Kristie and Marty. I am retiring again from the thread to spend more time with my family. Hope to see some of you at HFH or on the road. Go Red!!
Onward and upward!

Whew!!!!!!! Glad this part is over. Tonight for us will be Rib Eye Medium Rare and we shall be opening 1959 Chateau Mouton Rothschild. Still saving a few of the more valuable ones for winning a championship. We opened the last one for the 1995 ECAC win over Princeton at lake Placid (I think that was the 1973 bottle with the Picasso label). Cannot recall what we had in 1985 after the win at Joe Louis Arena because we were simply far too blitzed to remember much.

Short answer: No. LOL Just kidding....but ask me again in a few months after he's had time to work the portal a bit.
What, few months? He said he could get it done in 48 hours! I'll give him until COB Friday. 😃

Anyway just trying to channel some CGI Princess Leia energy from the final scene of Rogue One...

Aspy Dad, thanks for the link.
Our thread has been heaping praise on Ken Schott.
The last time I heard someone singing Schottzie's praises? It may have been Madeline Kahn!

Don’t go too far. LGR!

Good morning,

After a thorough search process, we are excited to announce the appointment of our new C. Lloyd Bauer ’55 Endowed Head Coach, Eric Lang. With a proven track record of winning and a deep passion for developing student-athletes, I am thrilled to have Eric leading our team into the upcoming season!

He brings a wealth of experience, having previously led American International College to 155 victories and three NCAA Division I Men’s Hockey tournament appearances in his nine seasons as head coach. His hockey IQ, dedication to student-athlete growth, and understanding of what RPI Hockey means to all of us in this community aligned perfectly with our vision for success.

Join us in welcoming Eric, his wife Christine, and their children Addison, EJ, Reese, and Drew to our RPI Hockey family. I look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on our team and the community.

I extend my sincere gratitude to all of you for your support during this process. Your feedback and vision for the future of the program were kept at the front of my mind as we searched for our next leader. I especially want to thank Neil Herberg ’87 for serving as a part of the search committee.

Stay tuned for more details on a press conference and updates as we prepare for an exciting season ahead!
Let’s Go Red!

I think that someone said earlier that this was from an alum list. Someone tell her that it is "Hernberg". :D

It's up on the Tute's page now.

That’s a Big time hire. Eric lang is a tremendous coach. I have zero doubt he will turn this around very quickly. I’m very curious who his assistants will be.
