RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

Trick is get a B lot pass. Other wise you need a private Sherpa to get up and down the street
C'mon, it's not that bad. If someone has legitimate mobility issues then the hills in front or back are obviously off limits. But I've parked on Peoples in front of Samaritan or the park probably 100s of times since I graduated and I still don't have a problem with it despite weighing significantly more than I did in my youth. I see many fellow seniors (it seems odd to say but I'll be Medicare eligible in a year) who manage it without problem.

It’s a joke.

It’s a joke.
I know the sherpa part was a joke, but it added to a stream of complaints about parking, drinking, etc. I know the modern fan expects more in the way of convenience than was the norm, especially with the games now on TV, but our primary problem is winning games. We're 1-6 at home, but coming off our best game of the season. This is a big weekend for potentially turning around the negative perception that's hung over this program. I'm sure Coach Lang has been working the boys hard. Let's focus on the games and less on things that no one cared about when we were winning.

I was not aware you were the fun police on this forum. You’re right we are 1-6 at home it’s also a rebuild year/years. Lang is the man I’m not worried about lang. The guys legit. Should be an exciting weekend. Last time we were winning Moses wore short pants

We always park at the alumni house. They have shuttle buses from there to the field house. Sometimes we take the bus, sometimes we walk. Parking is free, shuttle is free.
Walking that far or standing in the cold waiting for the bus to make the loop from the previous Fieldhouse trip is OK for the more invested fan. Did it myself a number of times until repurchasing a parking pass this year.

However, the subject matter was about the CASUAL FAN and they would have absolutely no interest in either of the above options. Come to think of it, how the hell would the sporadically attending CASUAL FAN know that either the Alumni House and/or bus option even existed???

P.S. It is now obvious there is a parking management (not a box office) problem at the Fieldhouse as it relates to prepaid ($80) annual parking passes. In my case, eight home games of which I attended all but parking spots were only available for six of them and I am not the only one who has gotten caught up in this. There have been multiple fan conversations on this subject matter and people are not happy. Most were outright madder than I have ever got over this. I have been around long enough to know that's RPI and that's the way it goes there.
