Trick is get a B lot pass. Other wise you need a private Sherpa to get up and down the streetCorrect. Easy peasy for folks who want free parking.

at least its an option baby stepsMany of the ECAC rinks sell beer and shockingly, actually let you take it to your seat, unlike RPI where you have to stay in beer "jail" to drink it. Why they aren't able to treat fans like adults is beyond me...
C'mon, it's not that bad. If someone has legitimate mobility issues then the hills in front or back are obviously off limits. But I've parked on Peoples in front of Samaritan or the park probably 100s of times since I graduated and I still don't have a problem with it despite weighing significantly more than I did in my youth. I see many fellow seniors (it seems odd to say but I'll be Medicare eligible in a year) who manage it without problem.Trick is get a B lot pass. I know the sherpa part was a joke, but it added to a stream of complaints about parking, drinking, etc. I know the modern fan expects more in the way of convenience than was the norm, especially with the games now on TV, but our primary problem is winning games. We're 1-6 at home, but coming off our best game of the season. This is a big weekend for potentially turning around the negative perception that's hung over this program. I'm sure Coach Lang has been working the boys hard. Let's focus on the games and less on things that no one cared about when we were winning. It’s a joke.
I was not aware you were the fun police on this forum. You’re right we are 1-6 at home it’s also a rebuild year/years. Lang is the man I’m not worried about lang. The guys legit. Should be an exciting weekend. Walking that far or standing in the cold waiting for the bus to make the loop from the previous Fieldhouse trip is OK for the more invested fan. Did it myself a number of times until repurchasing a parking pass this year.We always park at the alumni house. They have shuttle buses from there to the field house. Sometimes we take the bus, sometimes we walk. Parking is free, shuttle is free.
Correct- not the most exciting game but personally I would love it if we held the scores down and were playing these 1 or 2 goal games this year. There is a lot of offense skating around the ECAC and if most of our games in the league are like what we saw last night, we will surprise most of those pundits who had us as 11th in the pre season polls.Perhaps not the most exciting game, but it provided a fine win last night before another friends and family crowd at the field house. As I said in the game thread just before the third period, that’s exactly the sort of game we need to play in order to have a chance of success with this roster and the team needs to learn how to close out such games down the stretch. Congrats to Krawchuk on his first collegiate shutout. I think he’s clearly our #1 goaltender.
Combined attendance for the entire weekend against two name opponents who have at least some box office value was 3,005. Ouch!!! At this pace, freighting to think what the combined total will be for the Yale- Brown weekend who added together have about as much drawing power appeal as a used radio tube.Perhaps not the most exciting game, but it provided a fine win last night before another friends and family crowd at the field house. From what I have seen this team can be physical but as you mention it seems to turn on and off. the girls on the other hand, have been very physical with Kendall Davidson and Kylie Toye leading in smack downs (and collecting a few major penalties). next weekend in central NY has the potential for some really chippy ugly hockey.I didn't see the Saturday game, as someone decided to move all of the fall semester Sat. games to 4PM...after how many decades of 7PM puck drops? 4PM isn't an option for me.... Had I known this, I probably would've given up my season tickets. Another insult thrown on the ever-expanding pile.
I did see the Friday game, as painful as that was. I saw an RPI team that was completely disinterested in anything resembling physical play. I can only assume this is a coaching directive...but it'll get ugly when we play teams like Cornell who are more than happy to throw the body.
I hate to say it, but is it that surprising that attendance is bad right now?Combined attendance for the entire weekend against two name opponents who have at least some box office value was 3,005.
