I saw the game in person your spot on with we were outclassed. The game was comical at times with qpac making us look like bozos on ice. Talk about two ships sailing in opposite directions. Congratulations to Princeton tonight on an easy win.

"Trap game"? They are the national champions (who kept their top offensive players and added a bunch of transfers and top recruits) coming off a crushing late game loss on the road to another top 5 program with a week to prepare. You've been watching Pecknold long enough to know that they were going to come out ready to play. I'm sure he drilled them hard all week as two losses in a row are not acceptable at that level.

Of course we're not in their class (only a handful of teams are), but I actually thought our boys played fairly well with the exception of the power play goal where we left a guy wide open at the far post for an easy tap in. Most of their goals were the result of their having excellent snipers and a good scouting report on Cherepak as he's the anti-Neil Little (my favorite old-fashioned standup goalie) and has the tendency of modern goaltenders to go to the butterfly as soon as the offensive player lines up the shot. The other problematic goal was the lob shot that I thought Cherepak should have come out aggressively to get but that's pure second guessing as it was a bouncing puck and Graf is one of the most skilled players in the nation.

We've had some games where we didn't show up (e.g. last Sunday) . I don't think last night was one of them.

We played fairly well? Not sure if you’re up to date on current events but we’re ranked nearly dead last in the country. We have the worst pp and pk in the country. We’re letting in 5 goals a game. Theirs nothing going fairly well. Get serious

If your into moral victories then I guess we played fairly well. Whatever that means

. When I started reading your posts, I felt comfortable about going into semi retirement on this thread. Thanks for thinking we can be better, we have two Natty banners hanging in the rafters and should be more relevant.

Well said bro.I believe in Dave's first year they beat QPac at home. Of course, he had Nolan's and Seth's guys.

Nothing like creating a strawman and then knocking it down. Tell me where I said we’ve played fairly well in accumulating the statistics you cited for the whole season. In fact, I said there have been games where we didn’t show up. Last night wasn’t one of them. We were playing a top team motivated off a tough loss to another top team. I never called our performance a moral victory -another of your attempts to mischaracterize what I said. My point was solely that last night’s game was not the basis for wailing and complaining. We played fairly well LAST NIGHT against one of the nation’s best, albeit with some challenges in goal. That’s it.

Two big questions after tonight's disappointing loss.

1) Where the heck is the band?
2) Why would Aroma Joe's set up a table giving away juice instead of coffee? They didn't even give me a coupon.

Looks like we played fairly well again tonight.

1. Travelling with the woman's team this weekend I was told. Apparently they travel with them one time per season.

2. I don't know but that was a lot of juice.

I know I don't know as much as the coaches but I couldn't believe Brad McNeil wasn't out on the ice for that late power play after he just scored.
Kid has upside and busts it every shift and should be rewarded.

Why the infatuation with Seth? They didn’t make Lake Placid one time in his tenure and he was over 70 games under .500. You act like it was the glory days under him and he gets credit for every small thing but the best goalie to commit under Dave is credited to Dan Jewell in your eyes
