RPI 2022 Off-season: Surely, We Deserve Better

I generally avoid criticizing the administration, especially on subjects I know little about. But, for the life of me, I can’t understand why a premier technological university can’t make it possible to renew season tickets online rather than having to print out an application, fill it out and snail mail it to Troy.

One has nothing to do with the other. Talk to the athletic dept.

I'll save you a stamp: you can scan and e-mail the completed form to BoxOffice@rpi.edu.

I am guessing the system is still paper because the time and effort to do the IT build has been deemed not worth it. Sometimes the system upgrades require new hardware purchases, and there can be a lot of back-end work if it has to tie into separate payment systems, etc. Maybe they can entice some Comp Sci students to do it as a paid summer project or for some tuition forgiveness.
