RPI 2022 Off-season: Surely, We Deserve Better

FWIW - A quick check shows Union, Clarkson and Colgate all currently selling season hockey tickets. So there does not appear to be any league hurdles to do so....

No RPI hurdles either: https://rpiathletics.com/documents/2...23_No_Date.pdf

I believe that they posted a season ticket brochure for last season around this time last summer.

Prices look comparable to past years. It also looks like the Presidential Suite can be rented for $1500 per game (15 people), plus food and beverage.

Did they send out an email or something? Or has this just been hiding on the athletics site this whole time?

RED FLAG. ALERT!!! This may just be a mock up for design and layout purposes with the cost figures yet to be adjusted. It MAY not be the one that will be eventually sent out unless there is a new found generosity from a place that has never been exactly famous for such.

The last time we paid (2019-2020) it was the same $325 for a package of 20 games which included an exhibition game, the Albany game, three playoff games and parking.

2022-2023 is a 25 game package including the above four items. For the same price as a package of five less games from three years ago??? Shouldn't the current price be in the $400 or so range???

I am relaxed about it. The price without parking ($255) seems to be in the ballpark of what it has cost in the past, at least to my recollection. I assume there will be a formal announcement shortly, but I am sure the Box Office would be happy to answer questions in the meantime.

Price is the same as previous seasons. That is under the assumption this is the actual season ticket form. All I know is that I paid towards tickets last year and We all know what happened. Once again assuming that money was used as a seat holder. Good thing I kept the emails I sent to the Field House box office staff.

Some very interesting posts from yesterday. The brochure is probably a draft of what will eventually be completed and sent out to the public. They did have this year’s schedule and the rental of Shirley’s throne room listed on there, but the price still the same as it was 2 years ago with more home games? Unless they are trying to get the frustrated fans who have been waiting for 2 years to see a home game live (myself included) to return by offering the same price. Of course, that’s the optimist in me.

would it be possible for schools to just simply not accept credit earned at another school, thus making perpetual transfers pointless?

Certainly transfer credits will be an issue --especially transferring into academically rigorous institutions of higher education.

If the throne room is going to be empty sometimes, then thank god they can rent it out and make some money. It's depressing when that suite is empty, and they always wanted to use it. Shirley never let them use it for anyone except for her, so it'd be empty 99% of the year. Seems like Dr. Schmidt has already approved of that, but hopefully we see him around at more of the games

I have not received anything in the mail as of last night....but given this has been posted, I suspect the hard copies are likely at the printers or in the mail.
