What are you yessing to? Are you agreeing with me or DrD or just complaining about the new software? i certainly agree that the new software sucks, but starting a new thread won't fix it. :-)

I doubt it is in agreement with me. I have been known for some rather outlandish opinions! BTW, I hate this new software so much that I only check the thread once a week or less. Why is it that many people feel that change is always for the better? I really would like to go back to cars that had a manual transmission and did not beep and talk to me all the time with reminders or instructions about how to drive them!!

A couple of days ago, I had a similar reaction on a local bicycling forum when someone was giving rave reviews to an automatic transmission for bicycles. OTOH, the only time i ever attempted to drive a car with a manual transmission was before my first trip to Europe in 1977, when I thought I would have to rent a car in Europe with manual.

This software is indeed horrible.
