Nate is a good coach. I wouldn't be surprised that Lou from the Jersey Devils puts him behind the bench of his team... Providence connection, love of the trap. My best to you and Jenny and the rest of the gang here on the board. Happy Thanksgiving.
Also, we will need to find an answer for Jones 1, Jones 2, and Anas.
I was at the game and it is pretty obvious that both teams are at a high level. The funny thing was that other than his goal, Anas did not have a very good rest of the game, the size factor and physicality of PC really got to him, the kid is an opportunistic puck hound though with an inate ability to finish. Peca, the Jones twins and Samuels-Thomas are a handful for any team, they missed way to many open nets in OT last night though. Q's defensive zone giveaways has been been their Achilles heel so far.
I had thought (hoped?) that Quinnipiac's losses on defense and in goal would spell their doom this season, but it doesn't look like that has happened. OTOH, RPI seems to have Achilles heels on each foot.![]()
Actually Q's defense is quite good, limiting the opposition to 18-19 shots a game, they just have brain farts trying to breakout of their own zone, resulting in giveaways. The goalie really needs to be tested and hasn't been yet.
Is everyone still eating turkey?![]()
Hard to get excited about RPI hokey when we have this long a layoff during the season. I hope that coach has a lot of Rustoloeum handy for the weekend.![]()
I have that concern also. QU and PU played this weekend -- we did't.
RPI is certainly capable of severely testing a goalie, but they have to play at a high level for 60 minutes.

I don't get why everyone is so worried about Quinnipiac, when the team we should REALLY be worried about is the team that plays a system that RPI has shown to be unable to play against year in and year out.

Well, for starters, because RPI is playing Quinnipiac this Friday night.
If, going into Friday night's game, our team's focus is fixated on the team they played three weeks before, they'll really be in trouble.
Thread title suggestion Re: RPI 2013/14 Flagdud vs RPI Fandom
Yes, although I'm not sure Bullies is the most descriptive term. However, insomuch as there is already way too much naming calling on RPI related threads, I'll go along with Bullies. Good Observation.WOW...This thread seems 2 be full of bullies....Happy Thanksgiving everyone....
