Actually, after listening to the post game interviews on youtube and looking at the team websites, I believe Vernon will be playing Wellington in the early game on Saturday. Which means either Zalewski or Leonard will have their season come to an end while the other plays for the national championship.

Following their successful formula from the last two national championships, the Vipers have opted for the early slot, 1 pm Pacific time. Their opponents will be the Wellington Dukes, who eased into the playoff picture with a 6-3 win over the Portage Terriers in Thursday’s afternoon game.

Hmmmm.... have they updated the Hockey Canada website? That was my source for information.

I would think that Vernon would be playing Wellington because Vernon won the round robin and Wellington was fourth based upon the quote that I posted a few posts back.

I have heard that Ralph and the others are planning a welcoming at the border crossing near Potsdam to rub it in the face of the Clarkson fans.

Curadi was +1 with a SOG...his slash (off-setting minors) came at 2:40 of the 3rd

DBQ will try again to finish the series tonight in Game 5 in S. Falls -- 6:05 local... At this pace, the baseball all-star game will be here before the USHL concludes their playoffs...
