Terriers claim ANAVET Cup

Portage's Jason Kasdorf won the battle, stopping all 24 shots La Ronge sent his way en route to a 4-0 Terriers win and the ANAVET Cup.

"It feels unreal," the Terriers netminder said, "It's the best feeling in the world. I couldn't ask for anything else."

I hope that he asks for something else in Troy.

BTW, the boxscore says 23 shots which is what I used for his save %age.

Well the Diebold article mentions he will be arriving at RPI in the fall of 2012, which was announced today. Havent heard anything regarding Kasdorf since he committed back in January. IMO, I think its looking more likely that Kasdorf will be the one coming in next season.

Edit: Heres a couple tweets from WAP regarding Diebold:

Ed Weaver of The Record is reporting that goaltender Scott Diebold of the USHL's Tri-City Storm has committed to RPI for the 2011-12 season

Clarification: Diebold will come in the fall if and only if Jason Kasdorf can't get in right away.
