It is always good when your season ends with a World Championship. That kind of experience can only help the Engineers.

Fantastic news. Great experience for our boys to have under their belt. Amazing that we're picking off guys that are among (or are) the best players on the very best JrA teams in Canada. In the past, we seem to have had guys who were good (but not great) on mediocre teams or guys who were not standouts from the better teams.

All IMHO. Zalewski will be one of the top forwards for Vernon if he returns. He did quite well for a rookie, especially considering that he was out for an extended period with a concussion. Kasdorf is Portage's #1 goalie. It's been reported that Leonard is a top, if not the top, dman for Wellington.

It's too bad that Cornwall couldn't get past Pembroke, but I shouldn't be greedy.
