On Saturday, Team USA lost to Canada 2-1 in an exhibition game prior to the U-18 World Championship. Ryan Haggerty had no points or penalties. Article from the Youngstown newspaper mentions all the players that wont be returning to the Phantoms next season, Chris Bradley isnt listed which I assume means that he'll be back in Youngstown for another season instead of coming to Troy in the fall.

The win over the Steel was the final junior hockey game for seven Phantoms. Goaltender Jordan Tibbett is hoping to be reinstated at Mercyhurst College but has legal issues to resolve first.

Forwards Cody Strang and Danny Mattson both will attend Bemidji State. Also moving on to college are forward Stuart Higgins (Maine), forward Adam Berkle (Bowling Green) and defenseman Ben Paulides (Miami).

And defenseman Scott Mayfield may have a date in late June at the NHL Draft.

He’s planning to attend the University of Denver next fall, but has been projected to be a late first-round pick.

FWIW, Kasdorf is the highest ranked second-year eligible domestic goalie, which I guess means that he improved a lot from last year.

There are only two other goalies listed who play in Canada JrA. Kasdorf seems to have a much higher ceiling than I would have initially thought. Would love to see him get a year of development in the USHL.

good jump by Kasdorf....Leonard bascially stayed the same....Bradley dropped from a mid-season ranking of 152 and lets not forget Patrick Koudys at 76

I just watched the video of JL's goal on Monday http://www.pointstreak.com/flashapp/index_hockey_new.html?gameid=1563654. The PbP announcer said his name in French and then the color man used the English pronunciation. I wonder which pronunciation will be used at RPI. My guess is French.
