Re: RPI 2011 Recruit Thread Pt. II

Sorry-not a facebook member. I'll just have to imagine the picture. When we meet up in the next couple years I will try to remember to bring the picture of me at Woodstock from August 1969.

I think that I will eventually get a facebook account to view pictures that people post there.

I have no facebook account and no twitter account. Perhaps I am old fashioned-but I don't think I am not missing much so far.

You're not missing much at all. Facebook is pretty much a waste of time. Unfortunately, it's too easy to stalk people on there now. It used to be a challenge, and I liked it.

One of my four personal rules of computing is that I will never join Twitter.

Except for photos of people with really funny haircuts (hint: that's where you could post your Woodstock image...);)

Any truth to the rumor that you smoked a J with Hendrix?

Nope-but I drank with Joe Cocker and Arlo Guthrie. And lost my hearing for 3 days after being near the speakers for 10 Years After (Alvin Lee was just awesome)

Any truth to the rumor that you smoked a J with Hendrix? Or was that Ralph.

Thanks for the laugh. While Woodstock was happening, I was taking courses at RPI between my first two years as a grad student and traveling between Troy and NYC to see my father who passed away on 9/1/69.

Pretty decent offense coming in for 2011. Will it be enough to replace what we lose end of this season? Defense should be fine and perhaps even a little better than we have now.
