Bottom line, I didn't know (and don't know) why I got a hostile reception, I didn't know about any actual party (if you mentioned it here, I may have missed it... I don't read the entire thread, especially on the weekends), and if I "slithered away," it's because it was pretty obvious that despite my friendly intentions, you had no interest in reciprocating. Fine by me. I left and didn't think much else about it until now.

If you have anything further to say, I invite you to send me an email, or a private message on the board. There's no reason to air more of this here.

Very well. In accordance with your wishes, rather than merely post the steps to block, I have removed you as a friend on Facebook and also blocked you, which should have the same effect from your end.

Further, I shall put you on ignore so that our interaction comes to an end.

I don't know what set you off. Guess I never will. When an olive branch is met with such hostility, I know when to stop trying.

So, the template is in place for those of you who wish to come back and join this GREAT group of folks. Simply find the directions to ignore the idiots and stick with the ones you wish to hear from (you may wish to ignore me after my pit bull impersonation tonight :eek:). I love this group of young men. This team is NOT done. They WILL have an ugly year and they will have success. Will it be what we envisioned? No. But it will be success...

Exactly. I'm glad to see they haven't given up on themselves-Bergin in Ed Weaver's article insisting that the team can get it done, Lee and McGowan crediting their linemates for their scoring successes...we have a very classy team, and I'd rather lose with these guys than win with a group with less integrity. (Pep band has an interesting story about Union's team laughing at them on their way out of Lake Placid.)

Brock Higgs had a letter to the editor in the Poly this week, thanking the Rensselaer community for supporting him when he was injured last year. Really well-written, and a great thing for him to do.

The one thing I will share about the boys that isn't conveyed but what I glean is that they all believe in each other and get energized from the guy next to them...thus the perplexing nature of the score sheet at the end some games...I still believe in Seth's boys...

Since you are a parent of a player on this board, we would expect you to say nothing less!

Since you are anonymous, I would expect YOU to say nothing less ...and I don't think you speak for the collecitve. Is there a fume going around tonight that causes a-holery? I'm just not in the mood for it

I don't speak for the collecitve (?). Like everyone that posts, I speak as an individual.....like it or not! It is an opinion, which everone is entitled to. If you're not in the mood, go put on a Dubuque game from last year.......I heard they had a good year. Besides, what do you expect from a turkey!:D

Here's what is great about this break at this time...the coaches have much pressure on them at this point...I believe THEY have a right to a break from the "what the heck happened" syndrome. The players get a chance to be home (which is a normal thought). Every family has an "I s**k lately" candidate on any given day (we all know those moments) so maybe the entire group gets a chance to find their car keys, get the toilet paper off their collective shoe heel and wipe the milk off their newly shaved Movember bald spots. when they return, we get to watch January Hockey . IMHO it never disappoints.
