Re: RPI 2011-12 Part III: Our Goal is to be Offensive

Haggerty wasnt sick last weekend. Undisclosed injury in practice. Lets beat Union and start a winning streak. Also last 18 games played 3 wins I think is unacceptable.:(:(:(

You can stretch that out even further if you like (5-19-1 in last 25), but what is the point. Everyone knows the record late last year and so far this season is awful. What needs to be done to turn it around is the question. Nobody on this thread has the answer. We can only hope that the coaching staff and players do.

It seems that we sustain more practice injuries than game injuries. I wonder what is going on with that?

Maybe the injury made him sick. ;)

A bit early but I just took a quick look at the current PWR and noticed that only one ECAC team would qualify for the NCAA tournament, that being Cornell. They are ranked 15th so even if a different team wins the league tournament they would end up bumping Cornell out. Do you think with the realignment thats happening in a year and a half that this could end up being a common occurance with the ECAC?

Why else did we fill up two threads about the speculation concerning a move to Hockey East?

What are the conglomerate NC records between leagues?

We already distinguish ourselves from 50 other colleges who play D-I hockey. 52, to be exact. Just take a look at where our other sports play.

That's right, we're the only college team who plays all of their home games in Troy, NY!

Things still can improve for the ECAC this year. I do expect that league to get at least two bids when the smoke clears.
