Section 7? WOW!!! You must have some good connections.

No such luck, I called for tickets for this game and the Freakout on the day the tickets went on sale. This is what they sent me. Freakout tickets were not as good, but they are better than what I have had in the past. :)

I will be at tonight's game, unfortunately, I will not be able to make the tail gate party.
I will be in section 07 row N. Do we have a time and location where we might get together?
Hope to meet everyone at the game.

Lets go red!!!!!!!!

I'll be two rows in front of you. (Sec 8 tomorrow)

Me too I guess, but single seats are always easier to get.

For 26 years we had 4 seats in section 6. We tried every year to move over to section 7 and were always told there was no way. We dropped our request from 4 seats to 2-and were still always told the same thing. Perhaps ticket demand is just not the same any more on that side?

On the way to the tailgate... stopping in Latham (or as some of the locals say, 'Lathams' :D) first. :)

Must be. We sat in Section 17 for 16 years, and moved over to Section 7 last year with no problem.

Thank you to our Hockey Mom... Babo. Awesome time. Babo put so much time and effort into it and it came off great. I thought we played good tonight. Pat Koudys was outstanding. You can tell that Zach and Haggs are going to be good. Thanks also to all the players parents.. it was nice meeting them. Enjoyed my time with the Bailens. It was an honor to meet Ralph, it was like having the godfather there. What he has done on this thread and the time and effort is amazing. Thank you Mr Baer for everything. Also Pat Cullen was terrific tonight. These matchups against good teams will stead us well in league play. Thanks Senna for sharing your story. Hope to send my guy to the Tute too. Jim thanks for the kind words. I hope you join us on the board (My best to Sherrie) We look forward to the party in Jersey with Doc and Jenny.

I can't remember the last time an RPI team was called for too many men on the ice twice in the same game??????

First of all, it was nice to meet many of you tonight, thanks to Babo for getting the tailgate together. As for the hockey, i thought RPI looked quite good at times tonight given the circumstances: injured and facing the number 3 team in the country at the same time, Other times we were just outworked and got stranded on the ice for long chunks of time. Officiating was shaky, too many even up calls. It's definatley not time to call this season over unless the players start to get the mentality that its over. When healthy and playing ECAC games i think this could still be a very good team! GO RED!

Edit: Aton of credit to their goalie, play of the night arguably with a huge save late with our guy (didnt catch who) completely alone in front. Cullen had one of his better nights tonight also.

Guess which southerner is going back home on Saturday instead of Sunday. When I saw the 8 - 10 inch forecast I had an urge to my milk, bread, and toilet tissue. :D

Thanks, Babo, for setting up our tailgate party! Much fun meeting posters, parents and fans. Quick shout out to Ralph, aspydad, great laker mohawk, redcloud, troyboy, jcrawford, et al! And some great parents! (I'm sure I missed some folks... must be the cold remedies... lol ) Nice night, now on for a win tomorrow. Be ready for some snow. Shout out to jericho! See you later.

Ditto on all the accolades to those at Miss Babo's 1st Annual Tailgate Party....it was fun meeting so many posters & parents. Sorry to see you're leaving early Ralph, it truly was great to meet you. I believe the save you're referring to by Howe was on Schroeder, nyhockeyguy. You'ld think by now at least the linesmen would have the hybrid icing down...geesh. To AspyDad & those that don't check the Alumni thread, I'll do this once:D...Chase scored his 1st goal in his 1st game w/Alaska tonight:)

Re: RPI 2011-12 Part II: We Like to Post!

Well, we are probably completely precluded from any hope of an at-large bid at this point. Which is fine, even if a little disappointing. We should have nothing to lose tomorrow, hopefully we can get ourselves into more of a shootout and start lighting things up as we head into ECAC play!

NYGuy, spot on as always. I would also add Rogic to the guys who should get kudos. I was glad to see him on our first line. We have to clean up the too many men deals too. On the change we are passing the puck towards the bench which is a no-no.
