See you got your talking points from your master HD. I see your also a class act just like Harry Z. You Brown fans are all alike.

Leave him be. He's nothing but a darkie floating in my toilet. This is the moron who deigns to repeat HD's moronic screeds on who's a team on the rise while forgetting that his team has had the following finishes since the only goaltender they've ever had graduated: 12, 11, 12, 12, 11, 9. I invite him to shut the **** up.

Sadly, Ferris State just this year switched out of a deal with America One. So, $8 to stream each game this weekend. Deal-breaker for me.

Sorry WaP, there's some competition when it comes to amateur blogging about RPI hockey.

Even sorrier, it's from cmmarkham, so you could understand the quality of the writing (at least from the 2-3 times a year she posts): http://rpihockey.net/blog/

I might spring for one of the 2 games as i did this past weekend. The quality was a bit better than previous years but i still have trouble with the video being so far behind the WRPI feed and following the posts on the score thread which are often a minute ahead. i really do want to see a couple games early this season to get a feel for how this team plays-I wont get to see them in person until December.

Are the away games against teams that are also on America One still included? It sounded to me like they might only be if one purchases the all-sports package which I didn't do.

It seems to me that Ferris has done what we are trying to have done here.

Some of those here would like to convince those in control to not renew the contract with America One, and instead switch to an internally run setup through RPI-TV. That sounds like what Ferris has already done (Dominic, if you are checking out this thread, would you be able to confirm my hypothesis?).

No. Ferris is still using the middleman system; they just switched to an essentially equivalent other "provider". Their new one is more expensive than America One, too.

There's no "competition." The more, the merrier. If there was some kind of competition going on, we wouldn't have been linking to the Markham's excellent site since day one.

If only they would be so kind as to return the favor.
