Re: RPI 2010 Recruiting III: Monty's Quest for the Holy Grail

While doing a search to see if Guy Leboeuf had any younger brothers playing midget or bantam hockey I came across this team:

http://www.leaguelineup.com/teams.asp?sid=409029568&url=ottawariot&divisionid=110646&teamid=2019670

Theres two goaltenders with the names Patrick Juneau and Yanick Gosselin. Curious... does anyone know if they have any relation to Joé and J-F?

I doubt it. Certainly Gosselin is a common name.

Re: RPI 2010 Recruiting III: Monty's Quest for the Holy Grail

On Thursday, the Cornwall Colts defeated the Smiths Falls Bears 5-3. Jacob Laliberté had two goals and an assist. He was named #1 star. Guy Leboeuf had an assist and a checking from behind minor penalty with a game misconduct. http://cjhlsite.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=1048288

Laliberté's line is now 47-58-45-103-32.
Leboeuf's line is now 59-8-18-26-62.

Edit: If I counted correctly, there were 259 minutes in penalties handed out for the "gettogether" when Leboeuf received his minor and misconduct, counting the game misconducts as 10 minutes each.

Game article mainly about the brawl, which started with Leboeuf's penalty, http://www.standard-freeholder.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2467122.

Re: RPI 2010 Recruiting III: Monty's Quest for the Holy Grail

Sounds like something out of the old Federal League Jamestown Chiefs :D. Cannot wait to see Leboeuf lay someone out coming across the middle.

Now, that's hockey!

If memory serves, both of Joe's kids are girls..which is fine, so long as they can stop the puck ! :D
