From what I've heard, there were changes to the design after construction was already underway, which led to delays. I believe the original plan had construction being complete prior to this weekend.
I'm intrigued to see what happens next weekend when the ticket office is still being run of ECAV and they need to sell tickets for the AHL exhibition. Do they send people up to the stadium to buy tickets, or set up a temporary ticket window on the sidewalk outside the south doors of HFH?

I hope so. I'm a little surprised that we're inviting in two AHL teams to play in our newly renovated barn, without the whole renovations thing.
Also (and this is just my opinion / presumption), if the "drop-dead date" is October 16th, that shows poorly on the project's planning, ignoring the exhibitions and women's regular season games that occur before the first men's home game.
