"Your" legend is now forged !!!!! That comrade was a thing of beauty.Anyone whom has sat through a game at the High School scoreboard...wooden roof....self proclaimed Mecca among the masses will agree that explains the experience to a tee ! Just a little antidote @ the ECAC's this past year we were sitting next to some cornell fans and they were making fun of Union because they were from Schenectady.I usually don't engage people at games but I couldn'd help myself.I told them granted Schenectady is not exactally a garden spot....but your from F'in Ithaca and when your from that arm pit you have no room to make fun of anyone !

Given Ithaca is towards the middle and southern portion of the state, I would think there is a better choice of external orifice to describe it, especially seeing as how practically every major state road going through the state is on one little 3-lane one-way road, like a certain portion of this orifice. ;) I hate driving through that...

I prefer none, since you just crashed my browser.

What browser and player are you using? They are the same format that I used last year. I know the EHF said that he couldn't use the controls, but no one said that it crashed the browser.

I just tried Chrome and I seem to get four tunes playing at once, my two and the two in NYhockeyguy's quote.

The eLynah thread continues to keep me in stitches. Nothing real to say on the content but plenty of grammar and word critics focusing on the important parts.

ZOMG THEY USED THE WORD "WOULD" A LOT!

T.F.F. Thank God I didn't end up going to that festering boil of a school. Really dodged a bullet on that one. I could have ended up requiring diapers and a sippee cup just to function. :D

Oh, the horrors of my secondary English classes return... And BTW, I HIGHLY doubt any teacher there went to Cornell. ;)

BTW, most of the grammar seemed alright, and I'm usually as critical of it, if not more so, than they are! Who cares, though, it's all in good fun. I wonder if any of them read the REAL article. [insert lame comparison here]

This may be one of the toughest 'Exhibition' games we have ever played. It wasn't like this back in the 60's when we lined up patsies to start the season.:)

RPI will be NEW Brunswicks third college opponent in 4 nights:eek: How sick of collegiate officiating will they be when they role into Troy? I predict an UGLY game. Hope I am wrong.

Lots of the games with Canadian teams have been that way. I remember one during the RPI tournament years ago where Western Ontario came in and gooned it up horribly-injuring Juneau's thumb with a hard slash. Jenny and I had dinner with some of the 'Boys' from Ontario-I use the term loosely because many of them were several years older than our RPI team members.

New Brunswick has some decent skills from what I have read online so I dont think and I hope they dont goon it up and give RPI a tough tough challenge to get them ready for the trip to CC.

Seems to have just crashed me too-using IE8. Had this problem in the past RB but was using IE7 then.

You are correct. UNB is a skilled team that plays a puck possession and puck pursuit game, and so are a little different than the average CIS team. They don't play dump and chase nor the neutral zone trap. While no team is completely composed of angels, the V-Reds are perennially one of the least penalized teams in their conference. That being said, they have a few big forwards who will drive the net, and if someones tries to lean on them, they'll lean back. They go into every game playing to win, and expect their conditioning to carry the day for them. And they are out to prove that they can skate and play with Div I teams ...

So you mean they wont be marching to the box and letting RPI work on its power play units? :D

Thank you for reminding me that I should bring a hard hat. The shorthanded icing rule will be in effect.

In honor of Joel Malchuk, today is 22 September 2010. There are 13 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 5 October for the start of next season.

No, that could still happen. Like many CIS teams, UNB sometimes takes a while to adjust to the difference in officiating in the NCAA.

Ralph, as for the Alma Mater, I have no preference as to which version you use, however would it be possible to not set them to auto-play?

I don't have them set up for autoplay. This is the code that I use
embed src="http://pepband.union.rpi.edu/music3/06%20Alma%20Mater.mp3" Loop=0 Volume=100 Panel="true" Height=20 Autostart="false"
with the < and > removed so that you can see the code. Note the autostart option. If anyone can tell me how I can change things, I would appreciate it.

Edit: Chrome seems to ignore the Autostart. It also requires more than a height of 20 to see everything. I wonder how I can put in some kind of IF statement to check on the browser type. It's too bad that I never learned HTML.
