Curadi is #5 and Quinn #21, not that it helps much. The team apparently didn't supply helmets and pants. I am color blind but I think that Curadi is wearing a white helmet and black pants. Both Quinn's helmet and pants are black.

Definitely Curadi http://www.proamhockey.com/Gallery1...s Central vs Power Edge/pages/SCC0688_jpg.htm

No mention of Pat Cullen attending Caps camp...no quote from Appert telling us how happy he is that they'll all be returning for the fall...insert FD's soap opera music here... :p :p

Well, there is the same note about 21 returnees as before.

Does the quote "Matteau! ... Matteau! Matteau!" mean something to you? :D

Step on my toe! Step on my toe! (Can you believe that was 17 yrs ago???)
Wonder if he's got a 'black ace' on his helmet?

I can't believe that it was 17 years ago -- I can believe 16. :D

Ironically enough for RPI fans, the Blackhawks will be sending a team of rookies to play in the Maple Leafs rookie tourney featuring Sens, Pens and Leafs rooks.

Here's hoping a certain couple of guys that we know aren't on those rosters (insert FD's soap opera music here)...full rosters TBA. :D

I agree. I did read a post on Hockey's Future about someone looking forward to seeing Pirri there, but obviously, he doesn't realize the ramifications that would have.

Another credible source told me that Brandon will be back for Soph campaign. This is double confirm for me. For what it's worth.

Willing to put my $$$ where my big mouth is. If BP is not in cherry and white for first home game will buy everyone on the board a beer at the Recovery Room.

I guess I should reveal my "wall-flower" self if that's case! Thanks to all of you guys for the good humor and information you convey over this board. I look forward to checking it on a routine basis!

Go RED!

We'll probably fill up the thread today with people who post rarely or not at all. :p

OK, I imagine some of you folks have been around RPI hockey for some time.
I need some information to settle a "debate" between my wife and I. She is a proud RPI alum (who was exposed to hockey for the first time in her life her freshman year in 1991-92). So she was there the last time they won the ECAC. I am, of course, an RIT alum and huge fan from some years ago. I used to follow the team on the road here and there. But by the mid-90's I was finally gainfully employed in my field and didn't do that as much. So I was not able to go to the game RIT played out there at Houston Field House in 1994 (I think). Granted, there was no way RIT was going to compete well in that game, (They were just finally dragging their team out of a few years of mediocrity in ECAC D-III while RPI was one of the better teams in ECAC D-I), but I still imagine I would have gone if I could have. So I do not remember anything about the contest. When I first started seeing my wife, she found out how adamant of an RIT fan I was and was hesitant to tell me that she did not like the Tigers very much due to something that happened at that game at RPI many years earlier. I had no idea what she was talking about. Her claim was that with a few minutes left in the game, the RIT players all simultaneously (as though planned) knocked the helmets off the RPI players they were about to face off against and started a huge brawl. Her relatively hockey uneducated view at the time was that they disgustingly started this brawl completely unprovoked and were a bunch of a-holes. Needless to say, this embarrassed her because they were representing her hometown in a way, and her RPI friends were not impressed.
So did it really happen that way? I can't imagine they would have done that for no reason at all.
Anyone remember this incident?

I saw every RPI game in the 90's played at home and only recall the 1992 game (January I think) which RPI won 8-0 and my scorecard does not show any major incident like you mentioned. If anyone has other information please correct me.:)

For some reason I prefer the bar that Shirley built to the Pine. They get more channels I suppose.
