I was thinking the same thing-Ralph sometimes has a lot of extra time on his hands:D BTW I can't recall the last RPI defenseman to wear number 1. I just assumed it was reserved for a goaltender.

Looking at the number listing in the Media Guide, 1 has been a goalie at least since Harkness reinstated the sport.

I could not think of any defenseman wearing number 1 and I go back to when Ned Harkness left the program. I did not think to look in the media guide. Come to think of it, I am not sure I ever saw a defenseman wear number 1 for any visiting team either.

RC,

Who earned the headdesk? Or was it a team effort? :D

BTW, I do understand why you gave Curadi (BRO) the number 1.

In all the years I have followed hockey, both pro and college, I don't recall any skater wearing the Number 1. However, it would fit Curadi just fine. :D

RC - Does this mean you have no prognostication on what number Johnny Rogic is going to wear next year? I was looking forward to your thoughts on this and your feelings on Ralph's upcoming poll question regarding what tie Seth is going to wear for the Cornell game :)

DrD gets the brunt of it, but he couldn't have done it without you, Ralph. :D

Well, one does wonder, then what kind of reaction you'd expect from a serious discussion of defensemen who wear the number 1 after a pretty blatant joke post.

This is based upon 2 October for the start of next season.

A tie against Cornell? A tie? :( Think wins, not ties! :D Happy offseason, one & all! ;)

RB and I have had these inane discussions for years. Just a way to pass the time over the far too long off season.

Just so long as it isn't a gray su- wait, we broke that one against UNH last year. And people thought I was crazy for wanting to go watch that game.....

Harvard's thread has a rumor LeBlanc has signed with an agent and won't be back. A weak recruiting class and losing him will show up in lack of offense.

Any suggestions for hotels or getting tickets for Colorado College games (RPI games v CC)? Looks like it is only a 900 mile drive.
