RPI 2010-11 season

Re: RPI 2010-11 season

anyone know what happened to back up goalie Kristen Burney? she is no longer on the roster. that will surely make practices tough on Sonja and Shannon this season with only 2 goaltenders

With Coach being a goaltender himself, I'm sure he will accommodate them if there is only 2 on the ice.

Re: RPI 2010-11 season

Coach John Burke will be our guest tomorrow night at 8pm on the Without a Peer podcast.

You can tune in by clicking on the "Listen to Without a Peer" button at the top right of our webpage. Anyone with a question can feel free to call in during the broadcast.

Re: RPI 2010-11 season

Finally had a chance to listen to the podcast, and some pretty good information. I think this year I may skip the thanksgiving tourney and catch the women out here in Syracuse.

Re: RPI 2010-11 season

Has Dunlop been playing defense and Letuligasenoa forward as the boxscores show?

Can't speak for Dunlop as I haven't seen her yet. She wasn't in the lineup for the exhibition game. Letuligasenoa was playing forward at the exhibition, yes, but she's listed as a F/D on the roster.

Dunlop has been forced out of the lineup with an injury, she has yet to play a game to start off the season. Hopefully she is on the mend and we can expect to see her back on the ice soon as her both her leadership and skill are being missed on the ice.

Re: RPI 2010-11 season

Dunlop was on the ice for warmups before tonight's game against Vermont. She just finished chatting with the referees. I'll keep an eye out for her during the game.

Re: RPI 2010-11 season

Kendra did play tonight according to the live stats feed. She had a power play goal.

On another note, if any of you subscribe to the broadcast on B2, were you able to see the game? We had "technical difficulties" that B2 has yet to explain.

Still no success

Re: RPI 2010-11 season

Yup! Tried that, etc.

What's really funny is that I can watch the men's game without a problem. Think they screwed up somewhere and don't want to admit it.

Re: RPI 2010-11 season

Got a response to all of my complaining.

"I was not able to recreate the issue. Unfortunately we cannot give a free pass to re watch the game. I apologize for any inconveniences.

Regards,

America One Support"

I suspect that they didn't have a feed. I wonder what my credit card company would say about not providing a product that was purchased but not delivered.

Re: RPI 2010-11 season

I have to admit that there has been an issue with the first game of every season that I have paid for. I should know by now not to expect much from them. But when they are the only game in town, you have play with their puck.

Maybe RPI will get their own broadcast system. I'm sure they have students with the knowledge to make it happen.:)

RPITV is already equipped to broadcast the games, more reliably and in much better quality than B2. If you check their site you can see their broadcasts from last season. The problem is that RPI has a contract with B2 through this season, so until that's done, we won't see any live RPITV broadcasts.
