RIT Alumni Association just announced that only 1,000 tickets remain for the homecoming game downtown. On track for the fastest sellout ever?

To be fair, it would take a lot longer to use a shuttle system. There's never been a shuttle system in the world efficient enough to be faster than a 1/3 mile walk. The drive around campus alone would take longer, not to mention the loading and unloading time.

The solution is not buses, the solution is more parking closer to the building.

I completely agree with you, closer parking is the solution, not buses. But the part about us being savvy parkers is really irritating - it refuses to admit that there is a problem. And that is why that whole passage bothers me so much.

The season ticket holder experience is much improved this year. Instead of an envelope stuffed full of normal tickets, they actually have proper season ticket booklets with a different design for every game. It's very high quality and quite impressive to flip through. Hooray!

Picked to finish 7th.

It's probably not far off. I would guess maybe +2/-1 positions from the predicted 7th. How very sad.

A bit disappointing that this is where we are, especially on the debut year of our new rink. That being said, Canisius made the NCAAs as a 7th seed and Robert Morris as a 5th. Parity in the AHA usually means "anything can happen."

Yes... anything can happen. Several of the players said last night at the season ticket holders function that they really like the skill level of the incoming players. They were also quite positive about the way the new guys are fitting in.

7th would be an unacceptable finish this year, I think we need to aim for top 5...ideally top 4.

I suspect that Time Warner just hasn't provided their schedule yet.

Agreed. There are lots of teams not listed that for certain are on tv.

Speaking of television... is anyone interested in streaming the games? I know justin.tv is gone, but I'm sure there are other avenues out there for people who are interested in helping out some other alumni!

Here is my outlook. Last time Wilson's teams had a drop off, it took them two years to correct the ship. So I think they could be in top four, but this is where I see things to start...

1. Mercyhurst
2. Robert Morris
3. Air Force
4. Niagara
5. RIT
6. Canisius
7. Holy Cross
8. Bentley
9. Army
10. Sacred Heart
11. AIC

Did anyone notice on the magnet schedules they had at the STH party the other night, it says "Minnesota Tourney" not Mariucci Classic ..... what, do they have that trademarked like how the NFL is so restrictive on Super Bowl???????????

Re: >>>>>RIT TIGERS... The Polisseum, just like the Ritter only more of us!<<<<<

Saw one of the guys on crutches in SCB today. I'm pretty sure it was Holland.

He was pretty good at the end of the year last year when he broke into the lineup, would be unfortunate to have him sidelined for any length of time.

Re: >>>>>RIT TIGERS... The Polisseum, just like the Ritter only more of us!<<<<<

I think RIT is a top 5 team. Bentley lost quite a bit last year, and I don't see Canisius being as as strong. Mercyhurst and Robert Morris I agree with as the top two teams. I think after that, it's a free for all. Opening up at Air Force and Robert Morris will be a tough test right off the bat.

I hope the team sees the prediction and gets fired up about it. I believe the last time RIT was picked that low was the first year they were in the AHA when they were picked 8th, and we know how that turned out.
