Maybe he'll be the MacReynolds we've been missing since MacReynolds left.
Thompson tried to be that guy last year, but all he ended up doing was making dangerous hits and getting tossed out of games...not quite the difference maker that TMac was.
I think we'll all be happy if he likes to play a little physical and hang in front of the net poking home rebounds. We've missed those guys who grind and and are happy getting the ugly goals. At times the past few seasons it has seemed that "highlight reel" goals were the only ones that mattered.
Perhaps somebody who has seen him play can comment on his style.
