>>>RIT Tigers 2022-2023 Season<<<

I listen to them religiously because of their expertise and passion. They really get your heart racing. If this was the 1940's they would be a huge hit!

I agree. Listening to them you can really get a sense for the flow of the game and it's so much more engaging.

HC vs. RIT. What a best of 3 matchup! wish the students were going to be around. They contributed greatly to the atmosphere this past weekend. Regardless, get to the GPC for some great hockey this weekend!

I also think it's neat seeing Canisius and Niagara square off in the other semifinal series.

I think Friday is the last day of classes so hopefully some of them stick around. Might be tougher for the final but we'll cross that road when we get to it I suppose.

It certainly was a disappointing end to a season that held more promise. This team accomplished a lot that hadn't been done in a long while, but had the potential to go deeper. Overall, it was a fun ride, as always. Thanks for everyone for listening to the radio broadcasts. I wish they were still playing, but I'm exhausted this morning.

Just ran into a hot goalie Friday night, and Sunday was one of those days where nothing really went right. Frustrating, because territorially, the two playoff series were among the best hockey they had played all season (even Sunday given they were shorthanded for two full majors, outshooting HC was kinda impressive). But it seemed like Scarfone wore down a little bit towards the end of the season, and they just couldn't get much at all by Grande.

In a way it's kind of fitting they were eliminated partially by their best forward getting a major and ejected early (and another player getting a major later on to boot).

If the team could cut down on penalties they may have been unstoppable. Though penalties weren't the problem Friday. Is Holy Cross just that good?

Kolby Matthews shows up on the 2023 Transfer Portal. Also Veltri from Niagara, Fiske from AIC, and Barczewski from Canisus. Where are all the goalies going?

Tigers have no goalies in the recruitment pipeline, so if Kolby finds another home perhaps Wilson and company will look to the portal for some insurance. There's lots of them out there on the portal looking for places now.

Velti is going to Robert Morris.
Brennan Boynton (AIC), Luke Lush (SHU) and Jake Sibell (Niagara) are also in the portal. Most are grad students, but Boynton and Sibell have 3 and 2 years of eligibility left.

Transfer portal entries so far, by team:
6 - Bentley
5 - Holy Cross, Niagara
4 - AIC, Mercyhurst, Sacred Heart
2 - Army, Canisius
1 - Air Force, RIT

Transfer portal showing SHU Sr goalie LukeLush transferring to RIT.. Hope Kolbe is successful where ever he goes

Didn't see this mentioned here, but 4 Tigers are coming back for a graduate year...Gonsalves, Moretz, Nicholson, and Cassaro. Feels like they should be able to hit the ground running next year.

Only question about the incoming class is what happened to Chris Duclair? Played in the BCHL last year and turns 21 in November so I think his Juniors days should be over. Elite prospects and all the other recruiting sites still show him as an RIT 23/24 commit.
