>>> RIT Tigers - 2013 Offseason: The Future Looks Bright <<<

Re: >>> RIT Tigers - 2013 Offseason: The Future Looks Bright <<<

But all I'm doing is choosing "Purchase Ritter Only Season Tickets Here", selecting 1 under Quantity, then clicking continue... I don't understand.

Even when I choose General Admission (instead of the default Best Available) I get the same kind of error, this time saying "Renewal Seat (General Admission 6) exists on order 36229"

My friend is getting this as well. I hope something isn't bjorked in their system but wouldn't surprise

Re: >>> RIT Tigers - 2013 Offseason: The Future Looks Bright <<<

I believe I got mine order, but the odd thing is no confirmation E-Mail???? Holding on to my invoice...

I was also getting an error when trying to select seats that all seats must be in a row. And they were all in the same row. But I was able to get the seats in the next row over where I wanted to be. I am wondering if the tickets I was trying to select were taken just after I called up the seating chart????

I am seeing the charge pending all ready on my credit card, so it does appear to be legitimate. I think as kind of gotten use to RIT just did not communicate well when these tickets would be available....

Agreed the ticket systems could be better...

I did get mine but I'm glad I stopped by here today and saw these posts...I'm also glad that the redirect from the Brick City web site to the RIT Ticket purchase web site was spelled out by our posters here as it was a bit confusing. I also had my browser pop up blockers turned on so I had to click my way over the the ticket site rather than waiting for the redirect to take me there. Tom I did get a confirmation email though, two actually, one for registering for the Brick City weekend and one for the tickets.

Just to be safe though I printed everything out and will bring it all with me when I make the long trek up north in October (actually was on campus Saturday and had a look at the new rink...moving along nicely.) :)

I did not get either E-Mail, even after checking spam filter. Maybe because I used my RIT Alum as E-Mail address which redirects to a cable addressed caused the system and issue. Either way I def got the charge showing up on my credit card, I got and invoice, and I see the seats I selected are no longer available...

Where is the seating chart? I want to make sure the seats I purchased aren't available as well.

alum.rit.edu addresses have been having trouble since sometime yesterday morning -- at least mine and my wife's are.

Not that it matters at all, but actually Brick City Homecoming registration was open last Friday some time. I ordered mine Friday right after work. There were plenty of open seats back then. I imagine many were taken throughout the weekend.
For anyone who hasn't noticed, tickets for Brick City went on sale early this morning. By the time I got around to ordering this evening, it seemed like the vast majority of the lower bowl were already bought up, which seems surprising.

Also the system is really annoying, passing you through the Brick City site to the RIT Hockey site without very clear instructions.

Re: >>> RIT Tigers - 2013 Offseason: The Future Looks Bright <<<

The entire experience of getting these tickets was annoying. I was buying a block of 8 tickets (of which 5 people are already season ticket holders but had to take this route since more friends like to come to the BCA game). I had to enter in information for each person. I realize I could probably have BS'ed it but I wanted to make sure almuni got their discount. However there didn't seem to be a price difference between a "guest" and an alumni so that was a waste. Being passed to the 2nd portal to actually buy the tickets wasn't the clearest, I am glad I read this first. I am sure there are going to be ****ed off people thinking they reserved tickets when they didn't. Then I couldn't find 8 seats together, in the lower bowl, so had to pick upper level. Probably going to end up next to 30 Michigan fans or townies who won't do any cheers or chants. I also never remember seeing when these tickets would go on sale. I remember something vague about mid August but couldn't find an email. That's on me though for not paying closer attention.

My group was one of those that would show up an hour and half early and then throw a blanket across 8 seats. So sorry guys ruined it for you all. In our defense would be tail gating since 1-2 in the parking lot so we put our time in :p

Checked in on the construction webcam and it looks like the foundation work must be complete as there is a big ***** crane being set up on what will be the NE corner of the ice surface. Maybe we'll start seeing some steel work going up later this week. To make an October 2014 opening they are going to have to get things up and closed in before the snow flies.

The first shipment of steel is due to arrive tomorrow. Should be in place in the northeast corner by the afternoon.

Looks like it cleared up, I finally got my confirmation and it was backed dated to Monday. Which is odd that was the only thing with a delayed delivery. I had other business going on with that account and everything came through fine, except that confirmation ironically enough...

Good to read the construction will begin in earnest in the northeast corner as all important edifaces are. I'm sure Ritter was built starting in the northeast corner. Before you laugh there is actually historical significance in starting in the northeast corner in the erection of historical buildings going back for centuries.

Being unloaded right now ... good times.

Does anybody remember, or know, which corner the corner crew bleachers are going to be in ... northeast, like in Ritter, or turned around to southeast (like I think I saw in one drawing). Not a big deal (to me anyway), but I kind of like visualizing the future structure while it is going up. Also, I'm not even sure this was finalized when the last set of drawings were released???

Re: >>> RIT Tigers - 2013 Offseason: The Future Looks Bright <<<

The Corner Crew will be in the South West Corner. Last I knew.

Isn't the Corner Crew in the north west corner in Ritter? Pretty sure it's north west.
