...We suck... at least for now.
No we SUCK,
We gave up a two goal lead to a 0-3 eastern pod team and If they had one extra bounce go there way, they walk out with a win.
We need goals not shots. Lets hope the puck starts bouncing our way soon.
Also, it's interesting to note the long-standing regular season home sellout string came to an end. Unfortunately, I think a lot of folks assume games are sold out by game day. They posted 300 seats remained earlier in the day, so they must had had around 50 walk ups. Perhaps they needed to get that message out earlier today.
If we suck - what does that make Army? They were hanging on for dear life for 55 of the 65 minutes last night. Seriously - that is one of the worst teams to enter the Ritter in quite a while.
Nobody who knows anything about hockey would say that Army's play last night is anywhere near a complete game. There aren't more than a couple of bottom tier teams in DI that would aspire to play Army's game last night, while a majority of teams would kill to dominate in time of possession and time on attack like the Tigers did. RIT has one or two things to figure out, while Army has virtually nothing to be happy about.Ha, 2-2. That is all that matters. You can put as many crappy shots on the net as you can. That doesn't crap unless they go in. RIT had many chances. The team sucks at aiming, I mean they are god awful. They couldn't hit the net if it was empty yesterday. Everything they shoot goes wide or sky high.
You almost wonder if they played not to lose that third period after Army got that goal.
Hard to say, but Army definitely played better in the third, much like we did against Union. We also struggled with the puck control in that period, while the first two periods were among the best I've ever seen in that respect.

The penalties helped turn momemtum for Army. Hopefully, that will be corrected.
Well we're finding the back of the net, but letting in far too many. If Madolora doesn't come out big next week, AFA is going to roll over us.
Can someone explain to me how Ellis still has a job? Maybe I am just a homer fan but I have never seen him officiate a good game. That could probably be said for a lot of the refs in the AHA but Ellis just really seems to exceed at "the suck"
