any chance WITR is going to post recordings of the broadcasts from Friday or Saturday? I would like to put them on my Ipod to cheer me up whenever I am stuck in traffic.

I will definitely second that suggestion. Having been limited to WITR and B2 for Tigers games for so long, being at the arena I felt like I was missing my buddies.

If you read through the Friday and Saturday live blogs some of the comments were great. "The WITR guys are going crazy", "No, the WITR guys are always crazy". The scariest one was from Friday when with about 10 minutes left it was posted that "WITR has pronounced the Pioneers done". I'm thinking to myself thay were really tempting fate.

Hmm. I don't remember us saying that!

Went back and checked. At 5:10, with 4 minutes remaining a [WEB]commented "The RIT radio guys just pronounced Denver Done". I wouldn't doubt that he/she misheard it, or was plain making it up. It didn't come from Sullivan or Klump, although they were the ones that said you guys are always crazy.

Interesting enough:

RIT beat Denver.
UNH beat Cornell.

Denver 5, RIT 9, Cornell 10, UNH 11.

Has anyone been able to get tickets yet? We were contacted by the alumni association for tickets to round 1 and 2 but havn't heard anything yet for Detroit.

The Alumni website is saying this:

The men's hockey team is one step closer to a national championship. The Tigers are heading to Detroit to play in the NCAA Frozen Four on April 8 and 10.

Visit www.ncaa.com for more details, including ticket information. RIT will also be releasing ticket information later this week. Stay tuned for details.

Anyone have any additional/inside information?
I've already booked my flight and hotel.

An email went around last night saying the ticket info should be announced by noon today.

That Frozen Four art is so bizarre to look at. It's almost like an RIT student took it and put in the RIT "ticket" as a prank! Nice company to be in and good how orange stands out so nicely from three shades of red.

On the same page (www.rit.edu/alumni) where you got that quote about tickets being made available later in the week, there should be a list of upcoming events to the left. One of those is the Frozen Four. Click there and you should be in.
