Congratulations to RIT and best of luck in Detroit.

I was lucky enough to stand in the "Corner Crew" today at the TUC and just wanted to say that the Corner Crew is a great asset to your school / team and they (and other supportive, knowledgeable, loud student sections throughout the nation) are the reason I love college hockey.

First of all, I'd like to congratulate the RIT team and their fans for their impressive wins and first D-I NCAA tourny Frozen Four appearance! As a Denver fan, I'm sad about my team being out, but felt a bit better after RIT smoked UNH.

I will be attending the Frozen Four in Detroit and will be cheering for RIT. I am trying to find an RIT fan that will also be attending the FF who may want to do a jersey exchange with me. I collect college sweaters, but don't have an RIT one. I also enjoy meeting fans of all the different teams and began my annual jersey exchange last year (I exchanged a Denver jersey for a Miami jersey with a Miami fan last year in DC). Congratulations to RIT and all its fans. As a UNH grad and an AHA fan I was torn today but this is great for your program and for the stature of the conference.

Exactly right! At about the 10 minute mark of the 2nd period, RIT started playing the way they did last weekend against Canisius & Sacred Heart, with the same results.

As I said before, if RIT plays their game, they have a good chance to beat anyone.

If my memory's correct RIT started the season 0-5-0, and look where the team is now. You guys smoked UNH and outworked them in every facet of the game. It was fun discussing the weekend with my son, who said he's really going to bust on me if RIT wins it all. I've avidly rooted for SLU for 41 years and we are 5-26-0 in the NCAA's. You guys are 2-0-0 and may just win it all. Incredible!!

GO TIGERS!!

Well, if my calculations are correct, the RIT Tigers will face the University of Wisconsin Badgers at 5:00 PM at the Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.

Let me know if I'm off or if there's a re-seeding I missed. I'm just going based on what ESPNU is saying.

Wish I was still a student there, I would absolutely be heading out to the Sentinel in about an hour and a half. Couldn't be happier for RIT, first time I'm really looking forward to seeing the Frozen Four.

The joy and passion RIT is showing in this tournament is wonderful, as are the performances from your well-coached team. Enjoy the ride as far as it will take you. This is a transformative moment for RIT hockey, and you guys are going to the dance because you've earned it for your whole community.

Don't be surprised to see your bandwagon growing in Detroit, either. There are a lot of fans there without a dog in the hunt, and many of them are going to become RIT fans....Well done.

Pay no mind to Remy - he doesn't know what he is talking about (not that anything is new about that statement). RIT is playing their best hockey now. They are doing to the Frozen Four because they outplaying Denver and UNH.

BTW - looks like they need a goalie for the skills competition, Jared will be a bit busy. :cool: :D

Sitting here at home after the 90 minute drive from Albany to Utica, and just can't sleep. Seems there's this ringing in my ears. Sounds like R-I-T, R-I-T, over and over again. :) Surfing around the net and reading all I can about the tigers and ran across some really interesting pieces from all over.

They do not. You will play Wisconsin. You would have played Wisconsin no matter what happened in the other two brackets.

Miami/Mich plays BC/Yale in the other semi-final.

No re-seeding for the Frozen Four. RIT plays Wisconsin due to the tournament bracket which specifies how regional "champions" are assigned. See ...
