OK, I got it until the last word. What the hell is that?

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! friday. night is not soon enough.
Lil just went out the door in shorts. Yes, it is 28 degrees. It may be 70 later. This is a good reason to wear shorts when it is 28. My kid is officially a brain dead teen. And a popsicle.

Morning Lodge.

Saw a guy at the conference yesterday in Sioux t-shirt and hat. Told him in was in the wrong arena, about 75 miles too far south.

Too dam much work to do. May have to do work after the Posters' game tomorrow and again Sunday.:(

Not to be a bad influence, but I used to wear shorts year round in HS, even when it was -20F or below that even. Our HS was kept at 75 or 80 degrees, so I had to be comfortable :P

Might be vacation? Because that is what I need.

Yes, one too many glasses of red wine last night while watching an awful movie. Long week with the kids and have had class every night this week until at least 10. Plus, bf is away on vacation. *shrug* No ill effects this morning other than my eyeballs being way too dry for contacts and the unbelievable pain in my right toes from where I smashed them on the vacuum before bed.

I counted. It was only 21 times. Stop exagerrating. ;)
And the fact my seats were right next to that large section of people in gold..porbably didn't help the cause.

When reading that post of yours yesterday, I was really hoping you didn't throw the jinx on those teams. (particularly North Dakota..) You're shocked? Yeah, I'm still in awe. I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought of was the loss last night.

Smart guy at your conference, eh?

Well after the Posters' Game, you may end up just wanting to lay around, maybe work, and then watch UMD win their first title in school history.

Or you may be icing the back of your leg..;)

well, mornin' everybody. it's normally great to have a friday, but the only good that comes from this friday is the Twins opening up Target Field today. Other than that, today's going to be a somewhat dreary day. Anyways, we'll have some hockey again tomorrow, and hopefully Matt Frattin is crowned Hobey Baker tonight as well.

Morning Lodge.

Two or three of my U of M friends are happy. They are the kind of fans who only pay attention to the CHS, the GLI, and the NCAAs though, so * 'em. :D

On the other hand, it feels wrong getting on any bandwagon, so I won't be rooting for Duluth either.

I had about 20 people post that they were happy about the result of the game. Of that, only 2 actually went to UofM, and I think the only ones who had ever seen a college hockey game live were the Tech kids and a kid I taught at GHS.
WalMart is going to be mobbed today and tomorrow. ;)

Yeah, I'm kinda torn here myself. Heck, I'm probaly close enough to Ann Arbor to be considered a townie there, but hell, it does cheese me off with all of the excessive coverage they get in everything all across the state. And that's usually why I tend to pull for the D2 schools in NCAA hockey. But UMD? I've got a few reasons to hate them, mostly stemming from 2008 and DHG. Either way it leaves me feeling a little bit dirty.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

So going back to the day before the current college hockey season began, how many of you picked Duluth and Michigan to play each other for the NCAA title? Nobody? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Good morning all. Looking forward to what I hope will be an interesting game tomorrow night. I'll be pulling for Duluth to bring home its first title and yet another one for the WCHA.

GO BULLDOGS!
