Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: What are you looking forward to in the offseason?

no golf today, could have taken the girls to Taj for brunch.... but the weather is too crappy and would take something from the experience. :(

Wouldn't it be inside, though? And I got your poster.

Need to go food shopping. I feel like I haven't cooked dinner in a month. I want to make spaghetti sauce today. And I have about 8 hours of shows to catch up on before newer shows start tonight.

You know what I've got right now? The 'I had an espresso at 7pm after dinner because I was going to the opera and wanted to stay awake, and now it's the middle of the night and I'm still awake' thing.

Should have gone back to the opera. :)

Good Afternoon Lodge. BARELY T-shirt and shorts weather (read: a little over 40F). Maybe it's just a sign that I'm getting old.

If Admiral AcPro could figure it out, pretty much anyone could if they tried.

Hey now. I'm a bloody genius when it comes to that sort of thing.

I'm so hungover right now, I can't move. First time drinking since St. Patty's Day. First hangover since Carnival. I hurt all over. But at least it's distracting me from the abdominal pain which wasn't relieved by the consumption of American Honey. I've got an upper GI scope on Thursday so I'm sure that'll be fun.

I could be wrong, but isn't abdominal pain generally a good reason to leave the bottle on the shelf? :p

Well, if you aren't sure they are going to find anything it is a hell of a way to make sure they do.

Like I said, it's been a month. :p I'm sure my pain isn't caused by alcohol-induced liver damage. I truly thought it was gallstones, but the gallbladder ultrasound didn't show anything. They're thinking it's Celiac Disease, but I don't think that could cause the pain that I'm feeling.

Drinking whiskey probably won't help the celiac thing, either.

Afternoon Lodge.

Jr took a jake turkey (immature tom) at 7 AM this morning near bb_dl's home town of Red Wing (also John Pohl's home town). Nice shot considering we know the gun shoots high-left. Jr held low-right and got all head/neck.

It was fun, but I'm exhausted after two nights of about 4 hours sleep each and lots of driving around. Jr had a hockey game in Summerset, WI last night and we hunted yesterday from 5:30 AM to noon. Game was scheduled for 6:30 and started about 7 so we got home close to 10. I had to organize the hunting stuff for today then get up at 3 so we could drive to Red Wing again. Have two nice big turkey breast pieces in the freezer, and a turkey liver which Mrs. goldy likes.
