Our game is still going.... or not..... or going.... or not. The feed is totally messed up so it spent most of the 2nd period buffering. It still hasn't caught up. SO irritating

HHT although they worked very hard to lose they waited too long to give the other team a chance

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

Looks like we might be done with year end sometime this week, if our FS gets sent off to the printers for processing. Then we'd be back on schedule, not working Saturdays and every other Friday off (I'm getting so soft with this job). I'm looking forward to resuming my baseball card project and going to a show tomorrow in Toledo, and I might get to make a pair of hockey road trips next Friday-Saturday nights, depending on weather.

Good Afternoon Lodge!

I have to go for a walk and I do not want to go. It is snowing.

Stopped by the corner store yesterday, they had an unnamed beer (blueberry sour). I suggested "Beauregarde Blue" (think Willy Wonka). I stopped in today...that's what they named it. :) Bucket List Item of naming a beer is checked off. :)

How did you ever get into the whole beer scene. I don't remember you saying stuff leading into it. All of a sudden it was a thing. (I could have been away or not paying attention)

I went for a walk. Not fast but done. I know that once I get out the door I am OK but getting out the door....

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

Including driving to Toledo and back, I've been dealing with cards since ~10:30 this morning. I didn't buy what I was anticipating, but a successful trip nonetheless. I've also figured out just what I'm going to do with a lot of this stuff once I get this project complete. A lot of this is going to get sold, and then I'm going to get pretty specific on what I'm going to buy and collect. Worst case scenario, I figure I turn a low-4 figures profit on this whole thing.

I like beer. Was convinced by a friend to stop at a local brewery (maybe 10 min from my apt). First time there, it was dead, ended up talking to one of the two owners for about an hour (how it started, why they are in the biz, what their goals were, etc). I was hooked. I love hearing the stories behind the brewery. Some don't talk about that, some are more than happy to talk about it. I tend to venture to the breweries that have the "Cheers" vibe, that neighborhood feel. You can't force it, it just happens. It's organic.

On top of that, I know I want a future plan after my current job. I won't be able to do the physical stuff later in life. So, maybe I become a rep or inventory control specialist in the craft beer industry, and in that industry, it's all about who you know/connections.

Had the baby on Thursday, we’re in the ER for my wife today, checking out symptoms listed in the discharge papers. Things are on edge here. I can hear my wife weeping in the blood drawing area, I’m in the waiting room with our newborn baby

I'm with ya, brotha.

Boneless pork chops going into the air fryer for the week. Very simple (and very un-messy) to prep.

Yikes. Hoping all goes well and that you’re all home to celebrate your new addition!
