Good Morning Lodge!

Excited to have enough energy to weed!

That's illegal in many states. ;)

I'm back to 100%, caught up on my sleep. Yayz. Back to waiting for the weekend....

Re: Rep retirement lodge CC - greetings from heathrow

Just got notification from our CEO that we get July 3rd as a holiday-sweet!!

Re: Rep retirement lodge CC - greetings from heathrow

Honestly, I think I'd rather have the day after instead.

I'll be on vacation either way. :p

Normally I'd agree with you but with the 4th being a Tuesday, having Monday off means a 4-day weekend.

Re: Rep retirement lodge CC - greetings from heathrow

I'd take Monday, but we're a global company, so Tuesday is all the US employees get. I suspect not much will be getting done Monday regardless.

I work for a global company, too. I think they did it to offset some reorgs and layoff/reassignments recently announced.

Have to work on the 3rd. It'll be deader than dead.

Today was like a Scarlet Tuesday. Imagine you work at a restaurant, everything is going smooth. Then, an hour before close, a party bus rolls up and everyone wants the "Choose 3 of the 5 options" sampler platter, and they all are not sure exactly what choices they want. Whee.

An hour before close....okay, maybe. Now, 15 minutes before close? I'd shear the ears off of somebody's head with a shovel.

Had to turn the AC on tonight. Too humid. I don't like sticking to myself.

It wasn't 15 minutes before close bad. I will say that. It was more than enough to annoy the pi* out of everyone.

As for humidity/AC? If the weather wasn't gonna break in the next day or so, yeah, I'd be turning on the A/C.

Good morning Lodge.

Half day for me. We're getting lunch and and the afternoon off with pay for everyone that was on the software implementation team, as a "thank you".

I also get the 3rd & 4th off. Hubby isn't so lucky. Not only does he work the 3rd. He has the off hours phone that week. So, once he gets home he still has to answer work calls if there are any, all night, and on the 4th. I'm hoping he at least gets double pay for that.
