Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 99: You can get anything you want, at Fooper's Restaurant.

Almost too quiet.

Just got off the phone with an ex. Appearently, her current boyfriend thinks I'm trying to get back with her, and has been causing her drama. Somebody has some trust issues I think.
Sounds like the guy I was going to marry. She would be wise to run, not walk, to the nearest exit and to just keep going. A Good 5-6 state distance might be enough. (That being said I did just move to the state next to my crazy, but he is married now and off procreating, which is scary on a whole nother level)

Amen to that. If you didn't have to worry about bills and money, adulthood would be pretty dang cool. Still, all and all, I would rather go back to kindergarten. ;) :D
I think college would be best, I wish I slacked off more, and got into more trouble. Miss opportunity there.

This.
I've always said that if I won the lottery and squared everything away financially and could live off the winnings, I'd open a bistro.
Ohhh that sounds good.

I've love me a sports bar.

And yes, college hockey would be featured every weekend. :D
I think I would open ice rink, and have sports bar and of course a photo studio in it.

If I was a Billionaire, I would go about building Grand Valley a very nice ice Arena very near campus, and I would drive the Zamboni at the games. Visiting smoking hots would get to have rides during the intermissions. :D
Sorry bub, I drive the zamboni, I dont just sit there pretty and wave. (well I can wave when the machine is not on the corners, and when I am not honking the horn, or slappging high 5's with the kids).

I'd pay off all my debts, and help my family out on theirs. Then, I'd take back off to France for a year. When I returned, I'd find a job at a coffeeshop and enjoy life.
Yeah I would proably go that route first. Althought who knows with this company I may get to go to france for a year without even having to win the lottery.

You know what is sad is it that I have photos of said big arse boat

I'd open the Rusty Spork and Foopers.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 99: You can get anything you want, at Fooper's Restaurant.

I'd buy an abandoned airfield and turn it into a giant Top Gear style garage/testing facility. I'd hold giant dance parties in the leftover hangars on the weekends.

my mister would like to buy an abandoned AT&T microwave site.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 99: You can get anything you want, at Fooper's Restaurant.

After of course paying off debts and donations, I would start my dream business.

Think Chuck E. Cheese but for adults. So...like Dave and Busters I guess, but I want a ball pit and slides and things to climb on too. Maybe some of those crazy inflatables. I'd open it in/near a college town. I'd like to serve beer, but only good beer and try to limit amount (sure people will find a way to get around my system....but I don't want drunk ***es puking in my ball pit...so maybe I won't serve alcohol).

If I still had money left over, I'd sponser the bf's racing team, and see about building his go kart track (and connecting it to my awesome arcade type place).

Maybe close the ball-pits, etc at 10:30 and open up the beer-area. Games and whatnot would still be available.

So, I just found out something cool. Guess who gets Photoshop on her lappy for her long-term subbing? :D Though, it's the school's license so I won't be able to go nuts, but it's still cool! :)

That's cool.

Also as a student/instructor Photoshop on its own is pretty cheap to own for yourself. That is, if you want to go crazy. ;)

Photoshop CS4 - $199.99

Forget photoshop, go for lightroom baby!!!

After this adventure is over, I might make the investment. I've had it before to use for a class (and our license expired once the class ended :( ), so I know it's something I'd like to have.

Haha, if I was more in to photography. As it is, I'm barely competent with my little Cybershot.

Checking in from campus. Had Psych 101 this morning and true to form, the prof was a weirdo. :p Have to go to the Bursar's office some time today and get this stupid loan/money situation figured out

Actually lightroom is far easier to use, and it is actually designed for photographers. And at a pricepoint of $199 without a student discount, etc etc. It is affordable for photographers at all skill levels. It is non destructive editing, and you can keyword and rank all your photos, so you can find stuff alot easier.

Photographers started using photoshop mostly because that was all that was around when photos started being digital. Photoshop, all be it a powerful tool, is really ment for graphic design work, or photo art. But for the basic retouching, etc, etc it really isnt easy to use. And it doesnt catelog or manager your photos, in addition to doing about 80-95% of the editing that photographers used to do in photoshop. Some work for pro photographers still needs to be done in photoshop, but otherwise it is lightroom baby......

I just wish I had started using lightroom earlier.

I finally broke down and bought Renters Insurance.

$11.00 a month. I suppose I can have 2 less beers a month if it means they will replace everything I own in an emergency. :D

So, apparently that Mensa candidate Hokydad got PC91 banned. I've reported him for it and asked for PC91 to be reinstated. I think others should follow suit. Or at least neg rep him as much as possible.

Heh, I spent the summer on her, so I know the Duluth canal pretty well. Trust me, based on the sheer amount of people almost every trip into Duluth.. you're no dork because of it. I can only imagine how many photo albums I'm in now based on the amount of flashbulbs I saw pointed in my direction.
