Lighter than canola oil? That tends to be the lightweight oil of choice around my place.

It's heavier in saturated and polyunsaturated fats, but drastically lower in monounsaturated fats. (info). I like the taste better and it doesn't feel as "oily" if that makes sense.

I had a crappy day. Wine won't fix the problem, but it's helping me get through tonight.

Good, we can drink together. :o (not a particularly bad day, but I'm reducing some of the alcohol stocks around here)

Had an after work Team Building Exercise at B-Dub's.

Only had one, but now I'm having another at home. :)

Instead of showering, I dirtied up some dishes. Made spinach ravioli (from a frozen bag) and created a sauce of sauteed walnuts, garlic, basil, oregano, and French thyme in some grapeseed oil.

Nice. You can put that spinach+walnuts+butter/cream+parmesan combo on just about anything.

What's on tap there?

I had a Snowstorm earlier, and now I'm working on a bottle of mead I'd picked up in Iron River, WI, and forgotten to take out of the car until now. :o Cork popped out due to freezing, so I figured it was time to consume it. :D

Sorry to hear. :(

You know, we all laugh at school stereotypes here... but when someone reminds you why those exist, and how you're a glaring example of one... sometimes it just hurts. Especially when you always thought you'd be more than that.

Ever wish you could rewind 10 years or so and start over?

Jamie and Coke.

And I'm jealous of the mead. I haven't had that stuff since college.:(

Yep, I've wished that before. At the same time though, I wouldn't give up the last 10 years of my life for anything - it's taught me a hell of a lot, in college and out of it, and I've had a lot of fun and met great friends.

Don't regret the past - you've got plenty of friends, you're breaking into a good career and you have a great future. :)

I mentioned it a while back in the Drinking thread - got it from White Winter Winery.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but it sounds like it really sucks. :(

I'm sure you have plenty of people to talk to about it, but if you want to talk, let me know.

I had a crappy day. Wine won't fix the problem, but it's helping me get through tonight.

Glass of wine while sitting in a hot bath (or after a scalding shower while sitting in my pjs and slippers) helps - hope you're able to unwind... :(
