Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

If it's any consolation, I'm not getting married or divorced.

Seriously, that sucks man.

Thank you, Captain Obvious. ;)

And yeah... he and his wife hadn't been getting along for a while now. I didn't think it was that bad though, but no one does usually. No kids, luckily, but he has house payments, and, ugh. No good. (FYI: non-forumite)

:D

Great lesson in British superiority. :)

Sorry, BTW, it's The Brige On The River Kwai. :o
That was only the second movie I ever saw with an intermission. It was airing on HBO.

The other movie was Patton. I liked Patton better.

Back in the day, I think they showed "Amadeus" with an intermission on HBO/SHO/etc.

And IIRC, Monty Python's Holy Grail has an intermission. ;)

polls don't matter.

So I was bored and changed my facebook language to "Pirate" I like that instead of "poke back" I got to "return fire". And instead of having a "poke" button it read "skewer". I think 'poke the sieve' would be much more fun in Pirate language.
Arrrrgg!!!!;) :D

Swwwweeeetttt!!! I don't know if you saw this Trumpet, but there's going to be a performance of Avenue Q in Ann Arbor at the Michigan Theature.

Avenue Q

I just might have to get me some tickets to that soon. :D
Why can't you laugh? You really need to find a sense of humor...
Oh, what a shame, I can't rep you right now.

And I had an interesting day at the student clinic today. Had my first Commando. Lady comes in with some friends for a massage and I get her back to my table. After a little warmup, I pull the blanket and sheet back and start feeling thru the sheet for her underwear to tuck the sheet into. I start poking around there, not feeling the elastic anywhere, and then I ask her, "ummm... where's your underwear??" One of her friends was on the table right next to us and pipes in, "Jen, you're not wearing underwear again??" :o Needless to say, that lead to a round of giggles thru the clinic and just had to remind myself that we're all adults here, and just had to carefully tuck around her just as I would if she had on underpants on.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

That's a creative way of saying, "No!"
No, that was his creative way to tell me that I shouldn't have had all the lanes except two closed (I only had two cashiers from 9-close) 5 minutes before close...and he didn't want to wait.

Of course, by not buying it and having to go elsewhere, and complaining about it to us as much as he did he got it later then he would have if he would have just sucked it up and waited a few minutes. Apparently, he thought he was special...
