When the OT goal was scored the old stars and stripes were around my head as I was jumping up and down on the couch in celebration chanting USA! USA!

Gonzo, Regarding your rep...if you want to do some ice fishing in Colorado I think the local weather guessers accomodate you. It's a cool--but not yet cold--gray day with intermittent snow flurries. Later this morning and into the afternoon and evening hours the snow is forecast to be heavier with temps dropping appreciably. The low temp tonight is forecast to be 1 degree with a wind-chill factor of about ten below. The high for tomorrow is forecast to be nine degrees with the low to be eight below zero [and then wind-chill added to that]. I'm sure you'd be able to use your much ballyhooed ten incher on the frozen surfaces in Georgetown....about forty minutes west of Denver on I-70.
If you borrow gmann's speedo better make sure it's insulated.

I've actually fished The Georgetown Reservoir with my brother in law. Open water of course. We caught Kokanee Salmon from shore. It was rather foreign to me because my BIL is a big fisherman and he had us stop at a tackle store and buy these weird jigging lures called Tasmanian Devils. We picked our spot along the shore and didn't so much cast the lures as drop them into the water and then counted to between seven and nine. Then we'd slowly retrieve the lure, getting strikes on it's way up. Really a different style of fishing than I'm used to in open water. IIRC, we also had to walk quite a hilly road to get there, since vehicles weren't allowed.
And I'd love some 9 degree days. The only warm up in our forecast is when it's going to snow some more. Then we're back to the sub zero again until who knows when
Must still be post-lunch naptime.
