Wow, really? You should Netflix it. It still holds up after all these years. It's definitey funnier in reruns than some of the stuff that's on these days.

I bought some Girl Scout cookies at the T station today. Normally I bypass them because my niece sold them and she gets my large donation. I called her on Monday night to see why I have not been called for my order. Turns out she decided to not be a girl scout this year. I was at a loss - who's gonna be my supplier this year???? Thankfully I have instant gratification now! Off to open a box of Carmel Delites!

i'm a peanut butter patty man myself.. tagalongs ;)

Thin mints. Forever. Tagalongs are pretty good though too.

Samoas 4 life. (or Caramel De-Lites, they're pretty close)

I gotta go with the Trefoils, the original shortbread ones. Little crunch of sugar on top . . . MMM!
Thanks for reminding me I need to order cookies.

Mel Brooks movies are quickly becoming underground hits around here. :D

i love to sing along with mel to 'high anxiety'....

yeah, those two suck.. but cailliouie i would punch in the face. then his dad.
pair of whiney little be-acthes they are.

when i stayed home with tyler until he was 3 i liked powderpuff girls (any surprise?:p )
Robin Hood: Men In Tights is my favorite Mel Brooks movie.

As for Powerpuff Girls, they were awesome.; Cartoon Network had some pretty good shows at that time. Remember Dexter's Laboratory and Johnny Bravo?

Evening, Lodge.

Got to play the Fort Myers Muni course this afternoon, hoping to get on a much nicer course tomorrow morning before flying back home =[

Played there the past couple times I have come down here with my grandfather, however he passed 2 summers ago now. Real nice course, usually in great shape and plays pretty quick.

Thin Mints, after they've been in the freezer for a couple days. Just sayin'.

Mmm... Cookies!!!

Scarlet's buying cookies for 'diva? Sounds like she wants 'diva to be her Girl Scout. ;)
Well, who just wants to see Scarlet in one of those "Girl Scout" outfits??

Good call - I have Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs. Everyone's seen them many times, so it will be like background noise if we get busy landing big walleyes or little perch ;)

And if you're not, they're still great movies to watch...

Hard to go wrong with a collection of Mel Brooks. I should go get Blazing Saddles on DVD sometime. I've have it on VHS, but its been stuck in my brother's TV for a few years. It just won't pop out anymore.

1. It's no bunny suit, but let's judge for ourselves.
2. That's what he said?

Anyone else having occasional board troubles this evening?

Thin Mints. Hands down.

Also, I'm liking that tLodge is on track to close way faster than the last one. That one was slooooow. (And yeah, that's what she said, I know. :p)

Hi, Alanis.

Greetings from the Washington DC metro (Greenbelt, MD to be precise). Off to Goddard Space Flight Center with one of my students tomorrow to start work on a research collaboration with Goddard.

It didn't load correctly once earlier, but when I refreshed 30 seconds later it was fine. Been fine since, for me anyway.

Bolded for truth.

Why don't you kick my shins, too?

If people would stop getting married, I'd have a new comp this year for sure. I'm still trying to squeeze it in the budget, but man, I want another one that will last me just about a decade. :o

Does it have one of the old-school clacky keyboards that weigh about 10 pounds and could probably survive beating someone's skull in?

It survived the pre-Holy Cross Mode meltdown, the Mankato Meltdown, many poker meltdowns, and 3 apt relocations. That's just off the top of my head. :o

Why do that, when I can hire the midget to head-butt your ankles on Saturday? :p

And a decade...??? JFC, that isn't asking much.

Dell should just hire you two as product testers - if they survive meltdowns, rampant porn and lack of any sort of maintenance or updates, sell that model to the US military.

Hello lodge.

Finally took the initiative to go get my truck and change the oil. Took a while, but I'm glad its done. I had #2 in it and luckily it didn't gel on me, since its cold as **** here, don't know how it didn't gel, now I got blended so its good to go. Also, apparently a ******* mouse decided to make a nest in the sound deadening hood mat that is on the bottom side of the hood. I just tore the whole thing off, the truck is too **** quiet for a diesel anyway, so this can only help it.

1. She knows better.

2. I bought this computer in 2001. And at the time, it was on the higher end (this was when DVD drives were still about $300 or so, and flat-screens/thin monitors were just as expensive).

3. Sounds like a deal to me.

Yeah, I get 8 out of my desktop here I would be happy.

Doesn't military also include being able to have like sand all over the keyboard and have it still work, along with a few other liquids as well??

Oh, and just in case you forgot, Thursday here is Winger's Birthday.....
