My boyfriend (ok that is weird to say), really likes mel brooks. We watched "life stinks" and "history of the world, part I" when I was up at his place last weekend. I thought they were pretty awesome. I knew he did spaceballs and that move is just the bomb!

I did not know that one was a mel brooks movie, I love that movie.


So for my birthday, I am sitting around waiting for movers to come and pack my stuff. At somepoint I have to go into the office and have them throw me a going away party (it is also my last day of work).
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I did at least have cake for breakfast.

There was < 1" at home when I left and it was snowing/blowing pretty good. As I drove NW on 94 it stopped snowing around Albertville. No snow (but PLENTY of wind) here in Becker, MN.

I love this place. I pull into the lot and park and along with the cars and trucks there are two snowmobiles warming up outside the front door :D

That is a good one. Spaceballs is my favorite movie. It was my favorite movie even before I saw Star Wars. I love Mel Brooks movies, and have quite the collection. In fact, there a couple that I have two copies of (already had the single DVDs and then roommate bought me a collector's pack of Mel Brooks movies).

No snow fell here in 320land but it is sure windy and the wind chill is going to be an issue today.

Lucky you ;) Somebody briefly mentioned getting lunch "off campus" today but then we remembered that we'd have to all pile into a car and go somewhere else (I'm not sure any of us has a car). You know before World War II we used to be located in the city instead of on Moon Base 6.

I got asked to go out with the group since one guy is leaving. I feel guilty that I'm going to lunch with a guy I used to work with instead - especially since I was the one who ended the contract with the guy who's leaving. :o

The guy I'm meeting is buying my Gophers-Harvard tickets for tomorrow since my kid has his travel tournament this weekend.

Even I wasn't around before WW-II, :) , but it doesn't surprise me that the Census Bureau wasn't in Suitland at that time.

The first time I saw Spaceballs I almost died laughing and it's a move my kids have loved since they were pretty young. It's really funny to watch them watch the movie as they get older and begin to get more of the jokes. :D
