Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

Why are you taking Perspectives spring semester? Shouldn't you be done with that already?
I had 18 credits last semester, so I dropped it. I'll talk World Cultures during the summer, and I'll be right back on track. Actually, ahead of it, because I have credit for Revisions.

You wouldn't have to go wash your hands if you quit touches yourself while posting about ctf. Apparently the Muppet Man has taken a liking to jailbait.
:D

Back off Sparky
I was posting about Mookies tastes, which are public domain at this point. That may be the single time I've EVER replied to a ctf post, out of concern for exactly this kind of response. Not that I care whether the rest of you play your virtual game of grab azz, but I'm out.
Don't worry, it won't be long before you can reply to my posts without worrying about it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

A co worker just gave me a tin of oatmeal raisin cookies. :(

Grow a pair.

I don't know Gonzo, it's pretty late in the game from him to be trying to grow a pair. I think he'd have better luck trying to borrow one from BIL or FIL. :p

We're awaiting snowstorms here in Colorado. The mountains are supposed to be getting snowfall several times this week. I hope it happens since Mrs. Shot and I are heading to mountains to 'mock gravity' later this week. :D

Have ya had a chance to handle the ten incher much this winter? ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

No. We're supposed to go into the course with an open mind about all religions, apparently. :p

This reminds of a co worker I use to work with. She took an interest in me but I wasn't interested in her. She was hot but not my type so I firgured there was no need mixing business with pleasure. She is really involved in her Mormon church so I told her I was an athethist. For the next couple of weeks she started inviting me to her church in effort to save me. I finally came clean that I wasn't an athetheist. After she quit the company we went out once but didn't hit it off. We didn't have much in common.

Prospectives? Revisions? what are these classes?

Also, VermontDad sent me a pleasant rep: "stop reading my posts U BUG".

Nice. My brother who is not religious didn't have much to work on when a co-worker was crazy busy. Brother asks, "how do I get put on a case like that". Very Baptist/religious co-worker responds, "well you can start by coming to church with me".

That's Mr. Sparky to you.

So you were posting about Mookie's taste? Really? Hmm I would never try to twist something a person said around. ;) :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

That means root canal and everything?
Well, when they tried a root canal about five years ago, things were so far gone, they couldn't do it. So they ended up pulling the tooth and replacing it with a fake one. And that fake tooth got loose and was pulled in August. Now they put in a new post for another fake tooth which will be made sometime next spring after everything heals. Lots of fun. :D

Okay, almost the entire Navy is on vacation right now I guess. I sure hope those Somali pirates don't know about it.

I should hear something by the end of NEXT Monday now, I am being told.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

World Cultures I can figure out. The other 3.....no clue what they would be about.
I think I can explain them...

Perspectives: each class section has a different topic that they study, look at from different perspectives (hense the name), write papers about and give speeches about. I think the point is to get you to take a complete view on topics. The class was pointless for me, because my section was taught by a crazy old yooper woman who should have been committed several years prior.

Revisions: All about writing and presentations and such. Learn how to write papers and give presentations. Basically stuff that any high school graduate should have mastered long ago.

Institutions: Covered stuff on how economics worked and also touched on how government and education work. Generally, also stuff that should be taught in high school.

These, along with World Cultures, were essentially the most pointless classes I had to take at Tech.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

Well, that wraps up a short work week for me. The Shots always save a few end-of-the-year vacation days. My wife and I will be in town for another day or so before heading to ski country for a few days and nights later this week. We're hoping freshly fallen snow will be there to greet us especially when we get off all the chairlifts we'll be riding.

Going to a great local 'burgers and fries' joint for dinner tonight and then to a DU-Seattle men's basketball game. With the school on Christmas break and people scurrying here and there to do last minute Christmas shopping, I'm not expecting much of a crowd at the game.

We have good friends whose son is a member of the DU men's basketball coaching staff and we'll sit with them at the game tonight.

I hope everyone is in the Christmas holiday spirit these days. Over and out for now. :)

Grow a pair.

I have. However, the glass case that I keep them in with the words "in case of emergency break glass" inscipted on it is not worth breaking over oatmeal and or raisins. :D

I actually have a friend who is doing her grad work at Tech and is teaching revisions.

As you can tell from my description, my revisions class was very basic. You should tell your friend to toughen it up a little bit. :p

I'm pretty sure the only class I would've enjoyed was Revisions. lol. Stupid AP classes. Oh well, Perspectives with Bucky should be sort of fun.

Just be honest about it, your wife has them in her purse and she wouldn't give them back.
