Good morning Ralph, Wally, Gonzo, and Mark! I can't believe Christmas is in 3 days!! Guess who hasn't done all of her shopping
The joys of being Jewish and not having to do that.
heh.
On the other hand, try to find something to do on Christmas day. Everything is closed. When my mother was still alive, we went to Atlantic City every year ona bus chartered by a synagogue. Although I don't care for gambling, the casinos are always open. Mostly Jews and other non-Christians are there that day.

Morning!
Off to San Francisco in a few hours.
While I will be on decent behavior at the GLI, I don't need my parents there.
'Morning, Lodge.
So, apparently, my town is joining the ranks of those who have a small ball drop on New Years. Except, instead of a ball, they're going to drop a giant cherry. I'm not sure how I feel about it...
Next week may get far more interesting for me.
I'm flying home (Maryland) tomorrow, then driving back with the parents on Saturday (my mom needs to be in Grand Rapids on Sunday). So, the parents are staying at my place Saturday. I'm prepared for that. Then last night my mom tells me they may want to stay at my place again either Tuesday or Wednesday night. I explain that I'll be at the GLI and getting home late those nights.
Mom: "I'll talk to your Dad, maybe we'll go to the hockey games"
*facepalm*

So you ran into the Sloe Vag of parking lots, huh...I just love wannabe federal cops who find the need to warn me about coming to a complete stop at a parking lot stop sign at 10:30 *'ing pm when nobody else is around.
Worlds colliding!! Worlds colliding!!!
