But he still needs a winter storm WARNING at the least. Go on, gmann, help some old women cross the interstate or something. ;)

Just not the MIL. He'd have to be a candidate for sainthood to resist the temptation to leave her in the middle. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

320land is currently under a winter strom watch Christams Eve and Christmas day.

:(

Totally *ing my plans for a "Lake Michigan Circle Tour" to visit family that weekend.

Or maybe God sees it my way, and doesn't want me to deal with my mother after-all.

(sorry for the math content :p)

Hey Ralph, is it noted in your spread sheet when I hit max rep? I just noticed I'm not "brilliant" and 'only' have 2139358059 points of rep, even though I have no neg reps in my history...

Priceless: melmac from bostonewe and gmann at 2:17 PM EDT 3/17/08

BTW, that number differs from Max Rep by 8,125,588.The negrep was given by someone with about 1,625,117,600 of Rep, i.e., not a Lodge member, but somone getting close.

Edit: RC is getting close.

Or, if some of the Lodgers prevail, further away. ;)

307land is under a winter storm watch that is basically going to shadow my flight back home.

Sloe Gin, can you hammerpunch God?

I knew it would happen sooner or later. I've absolutely had it with the stupid ****in **** in the photo lab. It's not hard. It's really not. I taught a Fooper to be competent at it in 2 hours. No sense of urgency to get anything done on time. The simplest concepts are **** near impossible for her to grasp (such as DON'T LEAVE THE LAB WITHOUT TELLING SOMEONE...especially not to run to the bathroom to talk on your ****ing phone). I finally stopped trying to be nice, and just started talking to her like a 5 year old. We were busy, yes, but I came back and got her clean twice (not to mention I kept up with much busier before she got there). The final straw was finding out from one of our awesome regulars that he had a bad experience with her. Every time he comes in we bend over backwards for him. I hope he comes in tomorrow so I can get the story from him and document it (along with everything else) so we can finally get rid of her.

I left her with 12 orders on the screen. For once, I'm not staying late to cover for her...she's on her own.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

That was an interesting shopping trip. Ran into an AC hockey coach and chatted with him for a few minutes. Nice visit, good guy. Then I went to the grocery store. Everyone is wandering aimlessly around the aisles. I was one of them, as I usually don't go to this place. :o

Oh, and the kid braying like a donkey in aisle 10. That was lovely. An old guy next to me turned and looked in his general direction at the same time I did. By the time I got to aisle 5, the kid was still in aisle 10, and he sounded partly like a donkey, and partly like a submarine that was getting ready to dive. I could hear him a third of the way across a Meijer store, for those of you around Michigan.

Now...what to eat for dinner. Pizza, pasta, or beans n franks?

Bb_dl, while that would be wise, I don't think I could handle this for another two weeks.
