Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

We wiped out a TRP in 22 hours, and I think it was right around Christmastime as well.

What kind of car are you looking at? If you can, stay away from the "Buy Here, Pay Here" places.

"Buy Here, Pay Here"? Not sure what you mean by that.

Read that out loud. You happy with that? :D

Hot water and a paper towel for the moment. It's not going to do that much good, but it might be your only option.
Take off your pants!!! :D ;)

:D

I've had very good luck with Goo Gone for removing oil. There's other products out there as well that are fabric-safe. Maybe ask your janitor if he has (I'm serious) a fabric and upholstery cleaner?

Glad I could be of service. Who negged you? And for what?

I just dropped a carrot soaked in salad dressing on my lap. Great. How do I get the oil out of my pants? I will take the suit to the cleaners, but what can I do till then?

Tide-to-go?

So many things running through my mind...
:D

that's the idea. :D Although there was a really creepy guy working the counter who said that his girlfriend suggested that he get a job there.

And I'm done shopping. Thank Christ.

Usually it's a type of place that will not be affiliated with an automaker. A local guy that promises you get you financed TODAY!!(@*!*!! Yeah, he'll make the payments just right for you on that 2001 Buick, even though he's stretching out the loan for 4-5 years at 11% interest, so that 3 years from now you're driving a 10-year old wreck that you still have 22 payments to go on. You buy it here, you make your payments here.

That guy.

You know, adorable Noah Wylie's speech about saving polar bears almost makes me feel bad. He's just so dang cute when he's serious.

As for Flashy and I having the same post count, that's amusing, as I've been posting for almost 3 years less than him. :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

The office just had a very "interesting" meeting/discussion. I might soon need my "Will design roadways for food" sign. It sure is great being a civil engineer in a state that has was very little transportation work. Which has been the case for almost three years now. I've worked my a s s off for the last 18.5 years (college and work) in order to help improve the transportation system in the Twin Cities and Minnesota an area and state that I take great proud in but unfortunately there is really no opportunity to use the skills and training I've gain in this great State. Oh well such is life. I'm done worrying about it. What ever happens is going to happen. I'm going to enjoy life no matter what happens and I'm not going to let the situation get me down.

hey Mel, regarding your rep...she has some of what I got her, but this was something she pointed out to me a few weeks back. No, it's not a pouch though. They don't make any big enough. ;)

Fortunately the infrastructure around the Twin Cities is top notch and not falling apart at all...you never hear anything in the news about roads or bridges in that area :p

Sorry to hear about this. I wish you luck and hope you come out the other side unscathed.

(sorry for the math content :p)

Hey Ralph, is it noted in your spread sheet when I hit max rep? I just noticed I'm not "brilliant" and 'only' have 2139358059 points of rep, even though I have no neg reps in my history...

/math content

This is what happens when you start lending out the great CHA to other states and areas. It's nice to share the wealth but the void is going to be felt sooner or later. :D

It's already had negative impacts to my personal life so unfortunately coming out unscathed isn't possible but unfortunately that's the way life goes. I've enjoyed the last 2.5 years of my life but it hasn't been without consequences. Everything in life happens for a reason and I've learned alot about myself and others. The next few years will be interesting as I move into the next phase of my life. Thanks
