I think he's got a time of his own. Yager time, which just happens to fall on the same schedule as Tokyo.

Yeah, that town is officially boned. That's the second major employer they've lost in the past year.

They're left with summer tourism, which I doubt will be enough, even with the Porcupine Mountains State Park down the road.

I just got a nice compliment from one of my internal clients. Normally, my client who is on maternity leave would be dealing with him, but as I am tkaing her place these months, I was giving him an update on projects and he said afterwards I was doing a great job and he told my temp manager (pregnant client's boss) that as well. I thanked him and wanted to tell him to tell my regular managers but hopefully the word gets passed upwards. I also wonder what it means in relation to how they feel about pregnant client. I can tell she is not well liked and I wonder if she has ever gotten any kind of feedback/compliments like that.

Yep. White Pine is set to close again - permanently - so I can't see much industry in that county beyond logging, tourism and some real estate for vacationers.

What is a snow cow? Well, since you asked its a term used to describe the females at MTU. Usually it is used in a negative manner but we feel there is nothing to be ashamed of.
Being a snow cow means number one, you are intelligent. Obviously, Michigan Tech isn't exactly a school for the slow kids. Snow cows are witty, clever women.
Snow cows are classy. We walk around with our heads held high and present ourselves well.
Snow cows understand what it means to be pretty. It's not about looks. It is simply being happy and nice that makes us so beautiful.
We put the cow in snow cow, holding true to our name.. We love to eat and we're darn good at it. There is nothing wrong with a good cheeseburger.

I write checks for my races and entry into fantasy football. That's it. It ends up being like 7-8 checks a year.
