Last month her employer gave her a four figure salary bonus and said there would be another one this month. I just heard from Mrs. Shot, and indeed, she is in receipt of a second four figure salary bonus. Geez, I might even be able to have the large order of fries at the golden arches for dinner this evening. That Mrs. Shot, she's a keeper.

For those of you keeping track at home, I 1) did not go Norm Peterson knick-nack-patty-wack during my interviews today and 2) was told by the highest ranking manager type I spoke with to tell HR I need an extension through January on my full time status and "not to worry and enjoy the holiday season" because I'm an excellent fit for an opening the will be posting shortly. {crosses fingers}

Went to the Drs yesterday, saw the results of my MRI, pictures were very cool, what I saw in them wasn't. Definite tear in the front of the rotator cuff. Dr said I could live with it, that fixing it wasn't going to get easier or harder with time. Set up March 1st as operation day, generally a slow time for me. The worst part is 6 weeks in a sling, which means 6 weeks sleeping in a lazy boy:( , then 4 weeks of light duty and physical therapy.Expensive screw up on my part.

I had to change careers because I blew out my subscap and they basically told me oh well (this was 25 yrs ago). Went back to school to be an NP ~no lifting~ and got another degree that pays less than if I was a floor nurse (Nurses that are on my old floor make 6 figures with my yrs of experience:eek: ) Cool they can fix yours. Can't do much without hurting when it is messed up!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! thursty thursd'y is here

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. No news since that night. Not sure if this is good or bad.
And in other news~ They came and finished the hall closet, put in the vanity and stone counter. Now the plumber is supposed to show up late today. At least I have my closet done! The linen closet in the bathroom will not be done until after Christmas as the door is on order and did not come in yet:mad: The Bathroom is still GREEN!

That depends on the day of the week, though. Sometimes, I have woken up to 5 or 6 new pages overnight.

'Morning, Lodge. I have a half day at MSHS this morning--social studies.

My kid needs to get up at 5:30 AM for school. This is not exciting but by 6:30 I am awake and functional. Now at 9:30PM I am asleep on the couch...

The countdown is at 2! 2 days of work left this year. I feel like there should be a ttp for that. :D

On the subject of the F5, I haven't decided if I am going to go to the entire thing this year. I mean I will definitely go to some of the games, but maybe not all of them.

I think I've only missed 1 F5/wcha playoff since the mid-90's.

Good morning kids. Chilly day here in Beantown. Another post work holiday party tonight. It's been a nice perk of working in two departments these past two months.
