i don't bother with water.... they'll blow down the street. leaves in my front aren't mine, they blow onto my lawn from neighbor's trees. all my trees are in the back and stay there. we rake and bag those.

then front leaves get passed on to someone else! :p

Tomorrow nmu_27 and I are going Christmas decoration shopping. As this whole "celebrating the holidays on our own" thing is completely new to both of us, we have literally almost nothing, except for some ornaments we got as wedding gifts. On the list to buy is an artificial tree, lights, and whatever else tickles my fancy. We're going tomorrow because it's my day off, and I'm pretty sure that after this week is over I'm not going to be interested in shopping anywhere for a very long time, otherwise we'd wait until after Thanksgiving at least.

Sounds a lot like my dad and everybody else at my uncle's cabin up north. Guess they lost a lot of deer last winter because of the weather. Oh well, brother already has one from down here anyways. The Summer sausage I took to the game with me practically grew legs and ran off on me. ;)

**** right, Bringing in a christmas tree should always involve the prospect of some wild animal jumping out at you when you go to put the star on the tree. ;)

Good day for me today. The good guys won, and the team that we have a bone to pick them about won as well today. Now I just gotta figure out how to get my butt to Duluth next weekend. And then pay for it. :o

TThe 1/4 acre fronts the flat part where all the leaves fall. in between is a garden. Can't rake thru that all day- you lose dirt and rip stuff up eventually.:(
